Really hope the Saudis have a Billion Pounds to pour into this Newcastle team because that is how much revamp in personnel they need.

He had his purple patch which was simply too good to last. I would rather have Guendouzi back, he was completely unplayable today and is generally in very good form.
Yeah I wasn’t really that annoyed he was going at the time as other people seemed to be. Although I think his sale was used as more of a stick to beat Arteta and edu with, as opposed to a genuine belief he could be a great player. I didn’t see much that would suggest he’d be a top level player while he was here. Obviously his goals were impressive, but that was never going to continue at that rate. I’m sure he will improve, but I don’t think he’ll be one we massively regret selling
Spurs fan in peace. Arsenal’s transfer business has been a bit maligned in recent years but getting £60Million for Iwobi and Willock over the past couple of years is just incredible.
Newcastle are terrible and the wrong kind of team for him anyway. Also he's one of those players who just doesn't seem to grow. Not his game, physically. Still looks like a boy among men and can be shut down easily will a little physicality.
Until he can hold his own is physical battles over the ball he's not going to advance as a player, just too easy to stop. We got a fair fee given his age and I wasn't sad to see him go. But then I was sick of seeing him on the pitch, gob hung open looking like the dumbest most gormless player on earth.
