It is the years in between that concern me more. Easy for OF fans because there’s relative success to bask in I suppose? That’s my concern - clinging to the safety of the duopoly masks our being left behind. I’d rather be watching better player, better opposition I better surroundings with 80,000 fellow fans.
I’d be for it now whereas previously I’d have been set dead against it.
The leagues have become repetitive boredom with our own being bottom of the pile. Even the much vaunted EPL has lost its lustre with a possible winner of any one of at best 4 serious contenders and the nonsense of whether the rest can qualify for the CL or Europa. Utter piish nowadays.
Something needs to change imo.

Id rather have a league here where other teams challenged celtic and rangers and we fought to win leagues and the chance to play top teams in the champions league.
I love the champions league because we have to fight for it, u only need to look at the state of other clubs and how their fans behave towards it, boring bawbags.
My favourite memories as a celtic fan are in the CL.

For a long long time I loved the CL. I reveled in the draw, the knock outs and looked forward to the final each year.
I'd say in the past 3 years if the game hasn't involved Celtic (I know...) or Man Utd I have only watched sporadic games and they mostly include Real Madrid. I've just lost that interest in watching the same teams play, protected by their position within UEFA.
I watched Man Utd last night but didn't bother with the Liverpool game the night before. I know that come the quarter finals it will be Man City v Bayern, PSG v Barca, Real v Liverpool with 2 of the other top 3 leagues providng the other teams.
Don't get me wrong if it's Man Utd I'll be watching or looking to go but other than that I'd much rather go watch CS Jnr play and train

I’d be for it now whereas previously I’d have been set dead against it.
