Poor stuff from Mourinho, no doubt, but can't really question him unless he's had 3 years, 6 transfer windows, bought 14 players, and spent almost half a billion at Roma. The rules were set a long time ago.

Poor José - genuinely. I know a lot don’t, and there’s plenty of reason not to, but I always liked him even in his first Chelsea spell. Should be a pundit now as I thought he was very good and he can’t enjoy managing anymore

They had Juve at the weekend and Napoli this weekend, he picked a proper second string tonight.

I wonder if Roma's goalscorer will brag about scoring in this one!

A Chinese takeaway for supper may lift his spirits.

Chicken in six-one sauce, perhaps.

Too many more results like that and he'll be sacked extra early this time. Perhaps Newcastle could take him?

On top of this defeat though, is that Maureen will be truly raging tonight, now that Fonseca looks to have hit the jackpot at Newcastle.

Even though he is well past it, he'd still do a job for a team that'll spend a lot of money. Good fit for him.

Yes, but the man he replaced at Roma tonight looks odds on for the Geordie Lottery win.

It’s not a good look.

I don't think he's done yet. He still has a Glimt in his eye

Why did you delete my observation that this is quite a bitter comment, admin?

We're all capable of charitable gestures from time to time, but the man is an absolute cant of the highest order in the way he conducts himself professionally the moment anything goes pear-shaped. He'll savage anyone and everyone if he thinks it will somehow save his own face or divert attention away from his failings.
