Over-achieving then if stats were the only forecast of league position?
I wish ENIC would make us all proud by selling the club to some ambitious football focussed owners with money to burn.
I`ve had enough of the misery of these useless, business focussed clowns.
Stats don’t tell the whole story though.
We’re so much worse than that.

Boycott games, don't buy merchandise.
Only way you get owners like that out is if you hit them in the pockets, the only language they understand.
Light at the end of the tunnel....when Joe Lewis dies, ENIC will sell. And he is 84 years old.
So keep your hopes up, maybe this season, maybe next, ...but sometime soon.

I have already. Haven’t been since the stadiums opened and won’t anymore until there are massive changes.
Boycotting? Has to be done en masse tho and it never will be.
Especially now in the new stadium, there’s ten people ready to take your ticket. Even if they decided to sell (they won’t) which country do we want to be owned by?
I made my decision a while ago not to spend another penny on Spurs until there are changes, I am sick of being mugged off
He will probably make it to a hundred just to upset you all.

Worst case ala Don you can hold your head up and say you're not being complicit to the madness.
I just don't see how fans can be so unhappy with owners yet still line their pockets, same with United and Arsenal fans with their owners.

Sorry Ted, wrote this in the other thread :
His daughter will take over. You really think he will just die and that will be end of ENIC?
Levy is his god son. He could even give him more shares in his will.
Back to the article. Don we are fecked but we all knew this deep down as soon as Levy/Paratici left Nuno short.
I am not mad at Nuno because at the time he was appointed it felt like we should grateful we hired someone. It shouldn't be like this but this is Levy's way.
I actually West Ham's game plan worked a treat today. They nulified our 'attacks' to the center of the pitch. Crosses were food and drink for their CB's.
They packed the middle and it worked. Newcastle didn't and we were able to cut through them three times.
Kane fell asleep when marking Antonio for their goal but otherwise they were just as toothless as us up front.
They grinded a win out and didn't risk enough when we were camped in their half.
Can't believe we are 6th and only 2 points off 4th place.
I don't know anything about his daughter.
But she will have to cough up the tax bill from somewhere, and selling maybe the easiest option.
As for Levy, is he really interested in hanging on?
He hasn't put much investment into the squad over the years he's been in charge. He has managed the football club like he would a restaurant, hotel, or night club. It must be a pain in the ass to him.
As for Lewis giving Levy anything, have you ever heard of Joe making a charitable gift?
I think ENIC will sell when Joe goes.

You know ENIC have spent less than £100m in aquiring Spurs? £22m in 2000 to Alan Sugar to have a controlling stake and a further £27m in 2007 for Sugar's remaining shares. Other shares have been purchased from the bloke who ran Easy Jet for example and other shareholders as well. We were taken off the stock exchange. They hold 85% of Spurs with 30,000 individuals owning the remaining 15%.
I read the other day Levy values the club at over £3b despite Forbes valuing club at over £1b a few years ago.
IMO Levy isn"t going anywhere until :
He realises the full potential of the stadium by hosting 16 non footballing events in a calendar year.
Secures a NFL franchise team playing in the stadium.
Secures a naming rights deal for the stadium.
If we can avoid a future lockdown and crowds remain packing the stadium, next summer whoever the manager is will be given the profits to spend on the team.
I doubt we will make any signings in January unless we sell more deadwood like Winks and Dele. Have to find buyers of course. Not easy.
The key is the tax bill when Joe goes.
Does England still have death duties?
But then, of course, can ENIC hide their profits in the Caribbean?
Also, on the lockdown question, my understanding is that COVID is in resurgence in the UK...is that right?
Perhap another Boris lockdown?
Damning stats indeed. To think we are outdoing Norwich for how poor we are at many aspects of the game.
I didn't want Nuno but I've said before I'll give him some time. Those stats certainly have to improve though.

He was never the right fit for the club. It was a desperate typical Levy cheap skate appointment because all the other top managers didn’t want to play under his leadership. Conte saw right through it and knew he was never going to be fully backed. Nuno was the puppet they were after. “We’re going to make you proud”, what a load of s**. Sounds like it was coached for him to say right from the beginning

Even Levy wasn't sure about Nuno but Paratici managed to twist his arm, which means Paratici is potentially part of the problem too. He already tried to offer us up Gattuso as it is.

These stats are why Nuno needs sacking today
I just can’t believe people are still saying ‘he needs time’ and ‘judge him after x amount of games’
Why?!?! What is going to bloody change ?!?!
Our squad has issues but not on the level of these stats and that is down to the manager and his coaches
On a positive note I thought Romero and Royal had their best games yet yesterday , I like both and Skipp was good too
Least said about Kane and Son the better

Face it.....Nuno was ENIC/Levy's 10th choice for the position.
Anyone better would not take the job under ENIC's financial restraints.
