How did that guy just happen to have a bottle of ink on him?

I don't even know why the police are stood about, whilst they block traffic. Why don't they immediately drag the fookers off the road, before any moron gets the chance to stand like a mon g and record them?
They are not being hard enough on them

I’m sure they’ve gone through the process of emailing their local mp, petitioning parliament etc and they know they’re being ignored.
Not sure how you can get angry about people wanting the gov to fund insulating your home to save you power and money.
“I don’t want a heat pump to save me money I want to keep using facking gas! Violating my freedoms! It’s like vaccine passports all over again!”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I suppose like anything it comes down to a question of money and responsibility?
Presumably insulating everyone's house will cost SOMEONE a lot of money. How many years would have to pass to save the corresponding amount of money?
Also, who has responsibility to insulate properties? Is it the property owner or the government?

Thesecunts need pepper spraying then dragging into the back of a meat wagon to be given a facking vicious beating with the old truncheons wrapped in wet towels. The pigs need to pull their fingers out, they are taking the pizz out of the every day person trying to live their life.
------
Problem is we all know that they are in the right, we do need urgent action on climate change and insulating homes is a good step towards that.
Of course without pressure no government will move for it.
What you force those that can afford it pay for it themselves, while taxing them to pay for those who can't?
Bit like the sewerage debate in parliament at the moment, everyone knows it's for the best, but apparently it's unaffordable. I guess upsetting voters by taxing/charging them is worse than the destruction of our environment/planet.
That's democracy in action.

Why don't you just go get your facking house insulated then and stop waiting for the government to do it.

My house is already insulated. I still think the government should be leading the drive to get houses insulated to save on carbon emissions when we are on the precipice of a climate disaster.
Not everyone can afford to insulate their homes and as a nation, we can only move forward at the pace of the slowest. Sometimes it is up to the government to pull those people up.

Thing is, if a lorry driver ran over 10 of them killing them all it would be him up on a charge despite them not obeying the Highway Code, crazy times were living in

He might get away with it if he didn't reverse back over them...
I personally don't agree with protestors who create issues like this, by blocking the roads, to get across their point. They may say that they are getting the attention of the people this way, but you aren't going to get very far by hacking people off in the process, it has to be done the correct way and it will only make people rebel.
Also, not all houses can be insulated. You can't insulate a stone house as there is no cavity and it would create damp within parts where the insulation would be anyway. You can only add insulation internally.
