Very generous with Vestergaard and Soumare Dungeon.
The latter was poor, the former abysmal.
Daka was very good. Definitely MOM
It’s hard for me to comment properly as I wasn’t at the game, but to me it’s a bit harsh on Vestergaard, but spot on regarding the formation changes that didn’t work.
I thought we never got going in the game and any change made us worse.
There were some decent players in that starting line-up so disappointed we didn’t show more. Nobody screamed to start the next game so expect us to revert to 3-5-2 and the same players as before.
Also, Soyuncu without Evans is a shell of the player!
That's a lot of work for a midweek mick cup game...
Mersey - to be honest I think FFS is more accurate over Vestergaard. Arguably I’ve been generous, mostly based on effort and being decent on the ball. But really he’s below Ryan Bennett standard right now.
In fact he’s so bad I’m starting to feel sorry for him, which isn’t a good thing.
Yesterday's match was a strange one, Brighton certainly dominated most of the match, but only up to the last third of the pitch where they were mostly awful. Despite the Seagull's domination we had much the better chances and could have won easily in normal time, however undeserved that may have been.
It was telling that Ricardo came on immediately after they equalised, a case of Brendan securely bolting the stable door with the horse happily trotting away down the road methinks.
Nothing much to argue about with the above comments, I was defending Vestergaard against criticism from the chap in front of me, which had the predictable impact of him being truly dreadful for the rest of the match (save for the aforementioned passing forward).
Another game for sure that Jonny's stature was raised immeasurably without him setting foot on the pitch!

I’m still giving him more time. I agree he’s not looked good so far and we all can wait for Little Wes to return. But he looks to me like he’s struggling to adapt to our style of play. He can really be as bad as he is at times once he settles surely?
My biggest issue with him is his positional play alongside Soyuncu. As Soyuncu charges out to miss a tackle, Vestergaard seems to have dropped 3 feet behind the back line in a panic playing a whole team inside. We need to fix that quickly and I don’t think it’s just Vestergaard that needs to change.
I’m not pretending he’s doing well for a second. Just willing to give him more time to settle and hope he improves.
Agree with most of the ratings. Defence looks shocking again without Evans, can’t wait until Fofana gets back.
