The worst thing about this is if/when they go down people will claim they should have kept Steve Bruce despite this being all his handywork.
Whether they stay up or not, I think in the January window we're going to see one of the biggest spends in Prem history. They won't go down without throwing massive amounts of money at a new coach/manager
and new recruits.
On a separate but related note, I'm more worried about us.

Agree on your related note. They way we are performing is a much bigger concern than what Newcastle, Burnley et al are doing. Just hoping there are 3 worse than us is not the way I saw this season going

me neither but that's where we're at, lets hope for a bounce back tomorrow.
Your bear analogy is spot on. Currently, and based results plus head to heads, can we honestly say we're better than three other teams?
Norwich? Hope so. Newcastle? Maybe, but lets see what they do re manager and window. Watford? Yes.
Burnley? They are the anti-football poster child that seems to always find a way to survive. Can we out
fight them in the crunch? Southampton? Those are our misery partners as far as I can see. Every other team is currently better than us.
Currently. Saying that, long way to go.
I looked at it a week or so ago and 3 out of bottom 4 always go down (I’m sure someone can trawl and find an exception).
If you look at our bottom 4 Burnley know how to get out and newcastle will surely try and spend their way out. These are the 2 we have to outrun as a priority.
Win tomorrow and we are only two points behind Brentford In twelfth
Hopefully tomorrow our season kicks on
You ask a question here and answer it in the next 15 words. The side they have now has 1 quality player. We have to hope we are far enough ahead of them before the expected January expenditure.
There's a good chance that Amanda Staveley and her husband could end up scuppering Newcastle's hopes
with their ineptitude.
