Which conservative, bang average Portuguese coach are we gonna get next then?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know anything about him but I keep hearing chat re the Porto Coach..... Unless Levy/ Paratici change their approach and get some joined up thinking, the next guy is doomed to failure

If Conceicao is the one - boy are you guys gonna miss Nuno.
Hard to trust what Paratici has up his sleeve. He's proven to be a failure in choosing managers already.
i wish him well. was a bad fit, and he looked out his depth from the first minute. but seems like a nice guy. he should enjoy his payoff and sun himself in cape verde.

Antonio Conte is ready to accept Tottenham proposal. Talks underway and understood to be ‘at final stages’ - salary and long term contract discussed but he seems convinced to say ‘yes’. #THFC
Negotiations to continue in the next few hours in order to complete the agreement.

Chose some decent ones at Juve to be fair - but I think he just understands what’s required in that league better.

A word for Nuno though, I kind of feel sorry for him, he was destined to fail the moment he walked through the door. He had all the Kane shiete to deal with, and was left with a weak and unbalanced squad.
I wish him all the best, and hope he goes somewhere else and is a success.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think he needed longer off after the wolves job too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Definitely feel for him it was almost inevitable it wouldn't work.
Now where do we go....just get the feeling people don't really want to work with/for levy.

yeah he should have taken longer off, but if you are Nuno and spurs come calling it is a good opportunity to make your name at a club bigger than wolves. no disrespect to them.
I feel a bit sorry for him personally, just seems like he's completely damaged his reputation by going to Spurs.
Your squad isn't as strong as the rest of the top 4 contenders I don't think and whilst you were poor on Saturday and your players are underperforming, what are you expecting somebody to achieve after 17 games?

Exactly. Totally different scenery here. It's like he's still treating the PL like it's Serie A unfortunately.

Yeah exactly this. If he doesn’t adapt - he’s cooked.
The speed of this new appointment is gonna be key. Newcastle are ready to do something and 2 bad results for Ole this week puts United in the mix. If Paratici is all he a is cracked up to be then he better put these Juve connections into place and get Conte.
Worth noting now that unless something changes at the top (Lewis, Levy & Paratici) then hiring Conte is just gonna be Jose all over again
We all said Nuno was a Nono, now his unemplyedo.

He'll need to for his own sake, not just ours. Must be in Levy's bad books already.
Conte working under Levy and ENIC would eventually be an unmitigated disaster, with the way Levy operates, Conte would get pist off sooner or later and either walk or make it impossible not to sack him.
It does not matter who the coach is when ENIC and Levy are still here.

Oh I don’t know maybe a shot on target , patterns of play, pressing, any sign of a football team on the pitch
Just a few things I’d like to see after 10 games not 17
You clearly have not watched all our games this season
The apparatus that made the cock-up of hiring the wrong guy is still in place, I have to say I've no confidence in them getting it right this time either.
We're not top 4 condenders.
We were fading from being top 6 contenders.
Wonder if this has anything to do with a naming rights deal now the Stadium is hosting fights, concerts, NFL etc. Perhaps Lewis is finally gonna back the football team now he has something tangible to leverage against ?
Levy still thinks spurs are big time but only gives them small time funds
Conte would be another ego appointment for levy. He just never ever learns from his mistakes.
Jose mark 2
I still don’t think conte will come though, just awaiting the ‘spurs walk away from talks’ headlines…
