Job 1 - Today/tomorrow - Sit down with Kane and determine whether he will run through brick walls for us until the end of the season. If not then faaaack him off. Personally I think Harry will give it his all now until next summer in the hope we pinch a trophy.
Secondly - identify a play maker in our squad that can create until the January window is open.
Third - Get Scarlett a loan - he isn’t ready yet
Fourth - Establish a feeecking defence of some sorts
Fifth - call Winks a cuunnnt

On the other hand, what a waste of time the last 2 years have been. Wheelspinning and drifting since the Champions League final if not before. Fingers crossed this gets Spurs back to the top table.
Remember we have had ex Chelsea managers fairly recently, and we all know how how they turned out, AVB, Mourinho, just a warning

And why wasn't this done in the Summer, Levy coming across as a real dithering idiot, look at money he has wasted on Nuno when he could have actually saved money by getting Conte in the Summer, and invested more in the squad

AVB really wasn’t that bad - we stood still but didn’t go backwards. He got us our record points haul at the time.
Jose was finished

Exactly when you think of the money wasted on hiring & firing crap managers and their coaching teams we could have used that cash to properly back Poch when he correctly called it

AVB was a weird sacking considering he had lost Bale and half the squad was new.
Jose wasn’t backed and got the boot.
Hopefully Conte gets backed.

All eyes on Levy and Paratici now - we’ve basically brought in the best possible manager we could have. It’s up to them now to support him. If Levy messes this up there really is no hope.

For real... Either Levy isn't sure about Conte or Conte isn't sure about Levy
Either way its not the most confident start... However if results come on the pitch then I'm sure it will all be put to one side.

Yep Auto... If you want to go by the past, then that is only inevitable
You've got to say that we are probably getting the most top draw manager in that we've ever had, in terms of where they are at the time of appointing them. Jose was past his best when we got him but this guy is coming on an upward trend in form, one that he has been on since his Juventus days.
Most of us are hugely critical of Levy for his decision making but hopefully this along with some of the more recent transfer activity is showing that he is open to breaking old habits. Obviously Conte doesn't join us unless he is given assurances about investment. So Levy is either going to start doing what we have been crying out for and back his manager properly, or he's going to be strung along with false promises in which case it's going to be a short appointment and probably won't end well.
That said, even if he is backed there's still no guarantee he can be the sort of success he was at other clubs. Just aiming for a title may be a step too far with where we are now and the competition around us. If he can at least get us back in the top 4 or win us a domestic trophy, it'll be something.
