Villarreal.
Apologies I wasn’t even meaning to comment on this thread
Going 352 is the right move. Make ourselves tough to beat whilst confidence is low and we always have a chance on break with the quality we have.
A point tonight keeps us firmly in control of our destiny too. Would mean if we beat Young Boys at home we are more or less through.
End up in prison for that glazer
This is my formation on FIFA. Works really well. I play attacking wingers though as wing backs
Ronaldo limping as he came off the bus

Battered alludes to being dominated in games regardless of the result. Us v Bayern Munich in cl final. Or your lot v arsenal a few years back when ddg played the best game Ive ever seen a keeper doc .

We could still go out depending on what happens with Villarreal. Win tonight and we’d only need a point.
Love that the media portray Conte and Tuchel sides as 352 yet when Utd play that system it’s 532
I think it’s 532 by the way.
Villarreal was reasonably 50-50. We were far better than Atalanta.

And if we play the formation/ style we did at Old Trafford 2 weeks ago, we will probably lose away.
Sancho isn’t going to be playing as a wing back anytime soon.

We struggles against Villarreal as our pressing just didn’t work, they’re very good at keeping the ball.
As you saw in the game they “battered” you in before you had to go to penalties.

I think the only role he could play in this formation is the AM role, which is really a free role when Bruno plays it.

Yeah that’s not happening. We’ll revert to a back four once there’s a bit more confidence in the defence. It’s obviously just a temporary thing.
Battered alludes to being dominated in games regardless of the result.
…
In your view. It is utterly pointless being dominant and losing.
Sancho is such a waste of a signing. We’ve needed a right winger for 10+ years and finally have one and never actually play him there. #oledecisions

If we finish on 10pts it would take a set of highly unlikely results to not go through.
No reason why we can't get at least 2 draws or 1 win from Atalanta and Villarreal away anyway.
If we pick the right system we won't be easy to play against like before.
