Been brilliant these past few weeks, even putting in a shift at times.

Should never have signed him. He keeps getting us results and is limiting the time Martial and Lingard are getting.

Ronaldo just dragging United down, useless player. He's goals mean NOTHING!

What a signing, been saying it all season he was exactly what United needed.

You solve him by playing 2 up top. Simples.

If you're a moments team, having the ultimate moments player makes perfect sense.

Never understood this Ronaldo nonsense

Our issues are clearly at CB but no one wants to blame the old great british donkey known as Maguire so they shift the blame to Ronaldo

ridiculous

The fans who were so sure he was a problem for us, literally single handedly keeping us semi relevant

He isn’t a problem while he is scoring, OP. That is what Ole bought him for.

Our best game this season was at home to Leeds in the opener - before we signed Ronaldo. This proves that he is indeed a problem and that we got worse when we signed him.

It's simple really. You can't play a modern system with Ronaldo.

Enjoy watching Ronaldo save us here and there and then end up with nothing. Last season it was Bruno and now it's Ronnie.

The moment we employ a coach who actually wants to build a team and not individuals who are good at one thing, you'll realise theres more to football than a few last minute goals.

CR7 is undoubtedly one of my fave players but I can still remain objective

I have always been a believer in getting the collective right, over a team reliant on 1 player. While I wished utd was a team where everyone knew what they were doing, in reality ole's utd is mostly reliant on individual moments of brilliance from players. In cr7 we have the ultimate player to provide individual moments of brilliance.

this mythical team that cr7's arrival might have disrupted only existed in our hope and dreams

Personally, I'm more worried about the future. Everything we've done over the last few years has been building a young squad for now and the future and I've been willing to accept the shortcomings... To now turn 180 and build a team around a 36 year old seems rather ridiculous to me, especially as it means limited minutes for Rash, Greenwood and Sancho, right when they should be the focal points of what we've been building towards for 3 years.

Even more so, if we decide to sack Ole and bring in a progressive coach. Ronaldo would be a problem for him!

Ronaldo is an IMMENSE footballer but not what was required. If Ole and Co. ever had a project, this makes a complete mockery of that...

Nevertheless, enjoying the effing stunners while I can

Yeh, this is where I am with it really.

What Ronaldo is doing at his age is still incredible. But I do think that we would probably have been better with Cavani up top and Greenwod deputising.
