It should also be noted that positioning is also lateral as well as longitudinal. Brighton for example always load up one side.

Yes

So many questions, so little time....

CKR is a journeyman who has done far better than expected so maybe we now have unrealistic ideas of how good he ought to be.

Perhaps a little harsh but I personally think CKR was a good one season option. He faded after getting the contract extension.

But we're desperate for players and the right attitude and he'd certainly shown he's got 'PMA' and proved many wrong.
