Yes
No
I hope he stays at Rangers
He's good for our game tbh
Although he probably sees big Ange and is a wee bit scared tbh
If the interest is real (which it seems only a few dafties are still denying) then I think he will go.
It is a great opportunity for Gerrard. They are a big club, have cash and are underperforming big time.
He has the chance to go in, take them up to mid table pretty easily this season, then maybe top half competing for European spot next season.
If he does that he will have proven he is a very capable EPL manager and if the Liverpool job comes up his name and playing legacy will mean he is in with a serious shout.
The biggest fear is SG that it would be expected SG would take his whole backroom team with him. SG has qualities as a leader but its the blend behind the scenes that seems to have worked.
In terms of replacements - I think Dean Smith did an excellent job at Villa and was very harshly bulleted. He may be an option.
Lampard does nothing for me - so I wouldnt be keen on him.
My biggest fear would be McInnes in until the end of the season. He is available, cheap, knows the league etc. He wouldnt have any real squad building to do - he would just be asked to guide the existing players to the title.

Gerrard isn’t good enough to do that.
As for dafty’s thoughts; yes he may well go but until an official approach is made then it’s paper talk and gossip which many “dafty’s” choose to believe as and when they choose.
I don’t want him at Villa. Nowhere near the club. He is not a good manager. He’s a symbolic appointment based on his playing days.

Rangers are probably hoping he goes quick.
Get Lampard in if he's still available. More or less a like for like.
A big name gives legitimacy to the shower running the club and means they can likely continue to attract players of reasonable quality from England.
If they can get a couple of million that will help with the promise to be in profit this year.
Lampard to Rangers?
The same Lampard that with many millions to spend couldn’t make it work?
Who has been based down “proper” south all his life to come to Glasgow during these times?
If anyone it’s McInness
Cant be true because he's apparently not good enough for EPL. Nothing to see here.
When he goes its with best wishes from me. Timing horrendous but not really something we can pick and choose. Mission accomplished as far as the appointment was concerned and job far more attractive now than when he took it 3 years ago. Beale would be my choice if he can be convinced to stay.

No.1 so far SG is still the Rangers manager.
No.2 Lampard not only would that be daft as he has been awful so far as a manager, but no way he is leaving the comfort of the South Coast, Sandybanks and hanging out with his uncle Arry at the races for Glasgow. I dont see his ex One Show missus going for that either
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nonsense.
If he doesn't get any then currently open jobs in England fell have no real option but to move to Rangers.

Not that he’s needed as Gerrard will stay.
One of those scenarios, Winning 55 and stopping the 10 (9.75 ) was an achievement that he’d not really be able to top.
He wants the Liverpool job one day and doing well in the EPL is probably where he needs to be.
Aside from anything else Lampard won’t want stevie’s sloppy seconds
Not sure I see it being Lampard tbh, other than being an ex pro of similar stature there's few similarities.
