Marcelo Bielsa
Diego Simeone
Mauricio Pochettino
Pep Guardiola
Antonio Conte
Brendan Rodgers
Zinedine Zidane
No competition.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think you made some of those up. Conte was a Lippi disciple + Pep was definitely Cruyff more than Bielsa.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pep talks all the time (obviously not generally) about the influence Bielsa has had on him, and the mentoring he provided him. Conte maybe not so much, but hes attended Bielsa seminars in the past.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I saw Bielsa once at a bus stop. By your reckoning that makes me one of his disciples too.

Kind of melts my brain a bit thinking about the origins of passing football, opposed to just dribbling, started in Scotland
Even in the 19th century, England (the country that created the damn sport) was behind the times.

But pep isn’t a disciple. I think most managers attended Bielsa courses + a load of other influential people but disciple is somewhat generous
