Only £7.4m worth, but they carry the same voting rights as the Glazer's B-Shares. Interesting.
They're saying they'll issue more in the future.... just need to get it to 51%

What’s that as a percentage of their shares? Like 1%?

I'm crap at maths, but they made £117,000,000 from selling 8% of their shares, so this isn't much

0.56% ??? (if you take away the £116m they just offloaded)
It's safe to say this isn't a bold power sharing move
Yeah I came to about 0.5%.
It was never going to be. But at least it’s better than nothing, and having some fan reputation with a voice, not matter how small it may be, is better than nothing.
Am I right to say the other shares that have been sold in the past have been 'A shares' which, unlike the Glazers' B shares, do not have voting rights? If that's the case, the voice of the fan shares would be proportionately greater than their % of total ownership. Certainly a drop in the ocean compared with the Glazer's bloc of shares, but if it were the start of a much larger move, I'd be pleasantly surprised.

I think B Shares have ten times the voting rights of A Shares, so they do have them, they're just not very significant.
One can dream that taken with the two recent block sales it's part of a divestment plan, but I think they'd get more if they sold their controlling stake to one buyer.
But these aren’t ordinary class b shares. The Glazers put in some clauses on their ordinary class b shares that significantly weight voting rights in their favour, even if they hold fewer shares. They’ve rigged the game really well.
I’m guna bye 1 and when it’s my turn too vote I’ll pick Culer 4 CEO
Let's face it fans are not raising the $1.5bn needed for 50% ownership, are they?

Not happening. Culer's ruled himself out.
as a joint owner of Man United, seems that Culer has made an immediate impact
If he can influence the shareholder votes in the manner he influenced the biggest surfer votes, he's on to a winner

that will all depend if Admin1 is in Glazer's inner circle.
Not sure he is.
