As long as we exist then it won't change all that much for me. I will go to the match with my lads and I will hope we win. I have followed the Rams from the second division up to the very top, down to the third, up to the top again and thren up and down on a regular basis. It's not actually all that different to be a fan no matter what the level.

I suggest an opium den for the next 3 years, seeking solace in sultry middle eastern dances, writing tragic poems dedicated to a love we could have once had, as in the corner, the musicians serenade us back to sleep, with dulcet choruses of melancholy and longing.
As long as Scouse does what he is told it will be perfectly democratic.

So should we fight, or should we make a mockery out of the league?
Handling outside the area is still a red card right? I'm sure we can get 5 reds in 5 minutes that way without resorting to anything violent. Do that for every away match.
Home matches? entertain the crowd by seeing who can score the most audacious own goal.
What would the EFL do?
Low stands? See how many balls we can boot out of the stadium before they run out?
I know it looks bad and it's not what anyone wanted but once Mel admitted to the books not being right we was done. The EFL are well within their rights to hit us with everything as we delayed and appealed etc etc knowing we were wrong.
As others have said it's not insurmountable our points deduction but i just can't see this team doing it. It's time for the PL fan side of us to come out and support the club no matter what. I'd like to see Rooney stay but if he doesn't i'd look at getting Clough back to settle the ship.
As for appealing again, I expect if we do to be hit massively next season with a points deduction OR if we do the unthinkable and sneak out of the relegation zone then we'll get one at the end of the season to put us down.
Up The Rams
Well we know our fate. We know which division we will be playing in next season. Our problem now is hanging on to young talent like Jason and Festy.
The suspended three points is no deterrent. What difference is it going to make?

As mentioned on the moan in last night, it's about dignity. We've been served punishment for Morris's poor handling of the club, but it's now time to stand up and fight for the club's dignity, the players' dignity, for the fans and for the dignity of Wayne Rooney ( that did make me laugh given his recent misdemeanors in Manchester)
It's unrealistic but there's a fighting chance, we've got six games left before we're at the half way point. Tough matches versus Bournemouth and Fulham, so depending on how many points we can obtain by December and if a takeover is completed it gives us something.
If not and the club is stripped of all it's playing assets then we'll go down the route of Bolton who were spanked practically every game until end of the season so wouldn't matter if we had x players sent off.
Shame the city didn't have powers to kick MM out and ban him from ever re-entering Derby again and the club is repossessed from his ownership due to his mishandling.
MM doesn't give a flying fvck for the club, else he wouldn't have put us in administration.
Are there any stocks in Derby museum which could be recommissioned?
Looks like curtains as far as the club is concerned.
Derby are just the thin end of the wedge. Once the Dirty Seven (Newcastle will be joining them) form the ESL next season, the Premier League will collapse. The Championship will quickly follow.
Football is no more than a glass pyramid built on sand. It will not stand when the next crunch comes.
Liverpool, Arsenal, Man United, Man City, Spurs, Chelsea and Newcastle will all build their own glass pyramid - but on a different plot of sand. They too will collapse in time.
Perhaps Project. But it may be a slow death , I think first the professionals will suffer with more and more finding themselves to be out of work - see Wilshire as a case in point, whereas if this was a couple years ago a club would have offered him a deal by now.
FA Cup replays have helped lower league clubs survive in the past (gate receipts/ TV rights) and scrapping those will have an impact lower down.

It is not built on sand but on TV money, While there is an audience the bigger clubs are safe.
I don't think this is the end for Derby though. They will outlive me provided they cut their cloth accordingly.
The positive spin could be you have 6 months to build a team for promotion from league 1. Invest in the ones who will be part of that clear out the ones that aren’t.
I watched the Sunderland documentary on Amazon last year and they really struggled getting rid of deadwood and it weighed them down, Jack Rodwell springs to mind!
Youth system will be massive, certainly saved us, and seeing young local lads do well connects everyone making a richer experience. So plenty to be hopeful off đ
I wondered (a few posts back)what Middlesborough's beef agin Derby was. According to that fount of reliability, the Sun, they want compensation of 45 million because Derby's financial shenanigans cost Boro a playoff place by one point in 2019!
First of all, "prove it" I say. Utter nonsense. But, and more important, if this is true you have to ask how on earth Gibson can act as an EFL Board member and attempt to sue or claim against a member club. Talk about a conflict of interest! Presumably Gibson has been involved in hammering our club via his Board membership of the EFL while at the same time bringing a claim against us on behalf of his club. That more than stinks.

Derby go bump at Christmas, every cloud has a silver lining. đ
I'm pretty sure that Gibson is not a EFL board member, Chicago, though people often say he is.
I don't understand why, if he has a case at all, that it isn't against the EFL. Derby don't decide on what punishments Derby receive, if any. That's the EFL's responsibility. Punishments are not given during the season when the supposed breach occurs, but at some point after the EFL decides that the club has been found guilty. I guess his claim would be that if Derby knowingly cheated in that particular season then he could sue for damages, but the FFP regulations are spread over 3 seasons so even if Derby were way over spending limits in that one season then it wouldn't necessarily mean breach of the 3-season rules. It just doesn't make any sense to me.
Another downside of relegation is that we will have to wait till we've seen Peterborough v Forest Green before we get to Burton v Derby on Quest.
Gibson's plan for promotion in 218/19 was to appoint Tony Pulis. They reaped what they sowed.
