yeah driven both. the mini handles better, the i3 isnt great at cornering.
if youve never driven one just be careful when you pull away for the first time...just gently touch the pedal.... if you dont you'll hit whatever is in front of you... its instant power.
it will take you a while to get used to the brakes too

That’s what I love about automatics. Pretty much a one pedal type of car on modern versions and I imagine an electric car makes that more of a thing.

you take your foot of the accelerator and the car basically stops.... there is no power running through it.
if your doing say 40 mph and take your foot off the accelerator you've pretty much stopped within maybe 6 seconds without touching the brake pedal

I work for Audi and ours/VW are really good. It really depends on your driving lifestyle.
For Short journeys or low mileage p/w it's ideal. For linger journeys and regular commutes etc it can get tricky. You have to be a bit more organised than usual with charge.
Usually manageable but if you have a fast paced life with lots of travel then go diesel until infrastructure and tech develops a bit. Or Petrol if you're an enthusiast

I’ve just got a new car, was a gnats chuff from getting an electric (looked at the BMW iX3 I think it was) but in the end decided to stick with hybrid for now. Few friends have them (one has a Tesla, one has a Ford Mach-e) and love them but there are still snags ie battery length of charge and charging times on journeys. I think if your life involves relatively short local and work commutes it’s fine, and if you have a second petrol car for long journeys even better, but if you wanna be doing a lot of longer travelling in them the aren’t quite there yet. I’m gonna give it a few more years.

Even the smallest ones are bigger than original land rovers
My friend had a model 3, which he sold as he could work remotely after lockdown so didn’t use enough mileage to justify the additional cost.
I don’t like the aesthetics of the Tesla’s, but it’s the only EV I’d buy. Heard lots of bad stories about VW groups EVs and the Asian models just don’t interest me.
When other manufacturers can provide batteries in line with Tesla, with the interior comforts of normal cars I’ll probably buy one.

I don’t really like the look of most electric cars tbh. For some reason many are made to look ugly.
However in terms of the tech. Hyundai and Kia much better and better ranges

My friend replaced his Tesla with a Kia electric and it’s pretty slow.
If you’re going electric you really want that Tesla speed to make up for the crappy interiors, exteriors and the premium you pay just to use electric.

My friend replaced his Tesla with a Kia electric and it’s pretty slow.
If you’re going electric you really want that Tesla speed to make up for the crappy interiors, exteriors and the premium you pay just to use electric.
