Not 'slating' her. She is very good at what she does, but what she does really isn't very good.

But her music resonates with certain people. (Generally, with women with the same hang-ups and issues as she had/has to deal with).

To be fair music in general is a steaming pile of shat. In the UK right now and popped on radio one the other day and was staggered at the complete and utter sh!!te that was being played, truly cringeworthy shat. Not to mention the dumbing down of the news reports as if talking to four year olds.

Not a fan at all. That said it’s probably better than the lazy r and b crap in the charts. That stuff is excrement

Pop music is far too easy to create for consumption these days. Producer's use to have had a decent understanding of music to be able to write a track. These days any caant with a laptop and an impressionable audience can make millions. It's an area where an advance in technology has actually made a product worse.

Yes her music is a little pedestrian, but she’s not going to break a winning formula.

I will say however, as far as fat girls losing weight go, she looks pretty amazing.

Not a massive fan of Adele tbh, she’s got a great voice, a few nice songs and she seems alright, but all her songs are about the same topic and more or less sound the same, to me anyway.

The music press is dog*hit, hyping up averageness with lines like “greatest songwriter of their generation”, “the best album you’ll hear all year” about some absolute wet wipe of an artist who you never hear from again.

Standards in music have definitely dropped and it's not a generational thing. I saw some comparison site the other day saying how Drake is the biggest selling artist, over The Beatles, Elvis etc.. Not sure it's correct but still.
