Thanks View.
Can anyone tell me why it seems that Thompson can now play for the first team? Is it that he ranks as a "scholar" or is it because of the new restrictions imposed by EFL in that they allow for a few more in the squad?
Good luck for tomorrow as I look ahead to dragging myself up at some ungodly hour to watch on ESPN+.
By the way, it looks as though Ollie will be sacked. Is Rooney to be his replacement in spite of his protestations? Can't think of anyone else except Pochettino but he will be hard to prize away.
Will be walking from Hartington tomorrow so may pick up the score when on top of the hills.
Ironic that we should be playing Bournemouth tomorrow, a team who were promoted on the basis of spending far more than they earned, accrued about an extra £500M in the Premier League and then fined £5M when they came down. It is hard not to notice a slight difference in the "justice" dished out by the EFL. Who says cheats never prosper.

All three together could be interesting - hoof, hoof and
more hoof.
Enjoy the walk, Spart. I'm feeling jealous. One of the things I really miss is walking in Derbys.
Say hi to NSR, Viewfrom please and huge congratulations on her first in that very hard course, hope she has a successful career.
Hopefully a lucky đ omen for tomorrow đ
Morning all.
Thanks for the link again View....even though I needed sunglasses to look at it
Sadly my Mum passed away yesterday at 4am at the Mercy Care home in Derby....but life goes on.....and so we play one of the "uneven playing field" teams in Bournemouth. Stocked with "ex prem" players. That said I still think there is a massive gulf between the Prem and the Championship. Equally I honestly believe that every team in our league is beatable....so I hope Rooney has them fired up after the 2 match lull in form when we got beaten.
Interesting about being able to play Liam Thompson....and if we are strung to only 25 players - or what ever it is - then why he's able to potentially play. It was reported that was why Rooney couldn't play Cashin due to this rule.
I watched the U23's v Man U the other night. Coulda won, coulda lost. I noted that MacDonald didn't play so I guess he's in for Byrne today.
Anyway, however unlikely this may sound I hope we stuff Bournemouth today. UTR
Mornin’ y’all
Thanks Igor - t’was a great day all round đĽđĽđĽ
Sorry to read your family newsTerry.
I’d be surprised to see Thompson starting because Bird, Shinnie and Knight look a solid three but if so then it would be a sign of looking towards next season. Byrne is one I think is very likely to be leaving in January and he hasn’t been fabulous lately so I wouldn’t mind seeing Kornell there. I fear we may get a pasting today and on Wednesday but you never know.
Sorry to hear about your mum Terry.
Congratulations to NSR View, you must be very proud. I won't be "attending" as I didn't realise it was a Sunday game and have other pleasures planned!
Hartington (the Devonshire Arms to be precise) was where I spent most of my formative years, happy days indeed. đť
Up the Rams.
Terry - sorry to hear about your bereavement. Mercy Care home is a good place to be - if that is any consolation
Sorry to hear that news Terry, hopefully the lads can give her a decent send off
