True. The OP has a short memory.

Something is clearly going on with Maguire. This is more than poor form.

Dropping the armband is symbolic ... too heavy for him to wear. Should never have been made captain, although no stand-out leader to pick from at the time.

Has been well below his usual standards this season and could have done with being dropped himself.

A few tough games before they play Young Boys and Norwich, but rest assured he's going to make you eat your words when they come around.

If only he could play against farmers every week

I remember when Varane was bailing him and ole out earlier in the season. I couldn't believe some fans suggesting Varane was actually underwhelming not realising he was bailing out slab head
