He'll be back to his best soon enough. There's also no chance he'll be off in January. Which is good news as he's our best player.

If we had taken this competition semi seriously from he start then we could have won our opening 4 and been through and then could have used these last 2 games to try a few different youngsters.

Instead we half ersed it like we usually do and need to win both remaining games to ensure top spot to avoid the additional qualifying round and be seeded

Drop him for who ? Stevie I can’t hit a barn door Bergwijn? For all his faults this season, harry is still by far our best player and Conte will get a tune out of him. What we need is to add quality in our attack and replace Lucas in the starting 11.

This is why been needed a 5 man midfield. They control the ball and hold up and allow the front 2 to make runs.

How can you drop a leader who has just scored 5 times for his country.
The Spurs problem with Kane is "no support".
Conte will fix that.
Kane will be told not to go forage in his own half for the ball.
But to stay up top and look to score.
Lucas, Emerson, Reguilon and Hojbjerg will be providers, also Lo Chelso when he gets back.
Maybe rest Kane a little, not let him do the full 90 if we get ahead.
But drop him??
Not with a new manager like Conte on the scene....what an idiot question!!

This is the difference in mentality for me. Many strikers get dropped from loss of form or 'rested'. If we had signed Ings I think Kane might have seen the bench a few times. We just don't have the options yet.
