Kane's the obvious pick after Lloris. If he sticks around I can see Conte giving it to Harry eventually. All the England lads look up to him when he's away. I heard Coady singing his praises the other night saying he's a voice in the dressing room, all the players listen to what he has to say. He drags us over the line when he's on it. He'd be my choice.

I think there is undoubtedly a quality player there in Hojbjerg, which we saw for a good amount of his first season and in spells since, here and there. Seems like he is one who is keen to give what he can for the club and improve so I imagine Conte will want to keep hold. Plus he's somehow outscoring Kane.

i like him, but if we are to kick on a level then I would say a player of his calibre should be a first CM backup, rather than first starter in MF.

I am definately happy to have him though.

By the time a new skipper is needed, hopefully at least 2 new midfielders - one in the Brozovic mould to sit at the base, one in the Barella mould to play further forward. I think all of Skipp, Ndombele and Lo Celso have the capability to fill the 3rd spot more effectively than Hojbjerg, which would leave him as first backup.

If he a needs a little armband to be a leader than he probably isn't much of one to start with

Can`t fault his attitude but ultimately he needs upgrading in my opinion, so would not make him captain.

He is a good squad option though, but I think we need better, he is not mobile enough and his passing is not great.
