No, Nuno would have been hounded out if he hasn't already been sacked and he had continued like this. Also, if these were Nuno's first 4 games he would have got huge amount of stick. He only avoided stick initially because of our great result v city

Nope. We were awful but this is all on the players.

Second half v Leeds was the best we've played for a long time, and Everton was an OK result.

Been rubbish in the conference league, but brain-dead players getting themselves sent off hasn't helped.

This is without doubt the the worst quality squad we have had in thirty years. Conte is one of only a few coaches that may have a slim chance of manoeuvring Levy and the board to completely overhauling it within two years. Trying to mould this bunch of wasters into anything resembling a useful ensemble is out of the question. There are no short term solutions to the utter shambles we have become.

Cue a number of people posting without actually addressing the article's points. Get a grip. Probably 70% on average when a new manager is brought in a team's results improve before the team settles to their usual standard. I am asking why is this not happening and why are other managers not afforded this same luxury Conte is getting

No manager has a magic wand to be able to come in to a club and instantly get results. Anyone could see this squad was going to require a lot of work.

I just hope that bald caant doesn't go with the easy option of getting rid of another manager rather than getting rid of a load of stale players. That's if Conte doesn't leave before Baldy gets the chance.

He's coughing up enough on managers and to be fair has spent a bit in recent transfer windows. It's about spending well. Too many new signings not working.
