cant blame him. think you are walking into a decent but underperforming squad, and you quickly realise you are working with a bunch of mentally weak, technically under par, and generally unfit bunch of caaaants parading as premier league footballers.
i would also throw thick into the mix too.. how many times do we make the same unavoidable mistakes over and over again. how did sanchez not learn from the first goal, for the second goal.

How much can you spend? Aren’t you in even more debt than Barcelona? I understand your debt is probably more manageable, but it’s still debt at the end of the day.

Different kind of debt, it’s just the cost of the stadium and we refinanced some deals so this extra debt we got during COVID doesn’t really make a difference.
Early days yet, Conte needs time.

It’s mortgage debt to be repaid by 2051 at circa £40m a season. We make half that in NFL matches alone.
There is nothing stopping us giving Conte the best part of £200m next summer to rebuild

Of course. The only issue is how much time he gives us. We all saw what happened at Inter when the money wasn't there.
Need someone to polish and motivate turrd, or be able to bring youth in who quickly turn into class players refreshing the squad.
Max 3 signings in January and could all be flops and/or underwhelming

Fabio Paratici is under investigation for false accounting, along with his former colleagues at Juventus Andrea Agnelli and Pavel Nedved.

Daft bunch of players.
Does not sound to me like Conte is giving up...yet. He's just come to understand the reconstruction job he has on his hands. These are quotes...........
“The chairman has shown me that he wants me at all costs,” Conte added. “In his words and in the investments made, I saw a vision: the desire to excel.
“Challenges have never scared me, I just need to have even a 1% chance of winning them to start my battle. I have never taken teams that had won the year before, mine are always paths of reconstruction.
“ Juventus reached first place from eighth, Chelsea from tenth, Inter from fourth. I know it will take some patience this time.
“In Milan I left a finished job. Here I have to start all over again and beginning once the season has started is never easy.”
Welcome to WHL and ENIC, Antonio!
Conte is a winner, spurs are a total loser of a club with owners that have no ambition of winning anything
He will be gone by the summer

Exactly. He’s not a simpering Yes man. I hope that if that facking bald barstard tries to stitch him up on promises made he kicks his office door off its faking hinges, drags him by his lugholes across the desk and into the en-suite and repeatedly flushes his head down the Gary Glitter.

Well realistically you’ve got at least 2 transfer windows to get some work done.
Invest well.

This is a great article in the Italian media from Conte. Not sure when it was done. Given the positive nature of the comments, I'm guessing it was before the abysmal loss in midweek...
https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/news/antonio-conte-levy-paratici-tottenham-22294486
It does sound like he'd be happy to stick this one out and try and rebuild. I guess, if you move Bari aside, at Juve he'd done all he needed to do, at Chelsea he was sacked and at Inter the club were in financial dire straits. The circumstances of his 'jumping ship' were very much out of his hands. He might be more of a project man than we think.
The problem is that if this is going to be a 4 year job to turn us around, Kane won't stick around and if he starts to do well I don't think he'll show the same level of loyalty to the project Poch did. If things end up going sour at PSG for Zidane, for instance, he'll just leave and go where the riches are.
Anyway, I do wonder whether he'd evaluate some of these comments post-Mura. That defeat just turned a probable 2 year project into a 10 year one. Not sure the club has the money or, more importantly, he has the patience.

Conte isn't fed up at all...just surprised how bad the squad is. In a way its good. He now knows he needs to clear out the team. It should be fun sewing the signings we get in January.
