Got stuck in in the second half, but no hiding from tired, timid football. Hopefully this will free us to play a more expansive game against Brentford. MB MOTM for bringing on Firpo and making a difference on the left side.

Yes Firpo did ok and should boost his confidence. Hope Struijk is ok but looked to have picked up or made an existing injury worse

At last, a win! Fireplace actually didn’t play too badly after his customary early yellow card. Maybe he can improve with more games and be useful for us. If we can grind out a win against Brentford our league position will seem much better before we meet the top teams in December.

Midfield had far more bite to it. Forshaw is a revelation. Hope he can keep this run of games going to build his strength and fitness. A really clever player who controls tempo of our play.

We’re on the up lads. Palace are a decent team and 3pts is a real achievement. Back-to-back wins a definite possibility
