It’s interesting that it includes the women’s team and the academy. I can imagine an argument sprouting up in a few years’ time where it appears that a men’s CL has had more weighting placed on it than the women’s equivalent.

I think that it takes into account a number if things including results in the various competitions a club is involved in across the entire club. That includes men, women and kids.

I mean we’re where we are for several reasons. Butterfly effects and all that. Rather than letting Utd win it every year I’m glad that the likes of us, city and others can compete now.

We are where we are because of where we are located in London, which was always going to make us an attractive proposition to rich owners looking to take over something sexy. The lucky part is that Abramovich was the one that took the bait and when you look around and see some of the other Premier League owners and what they have done to their Club's and what they continue to do, then I would agree that we have had a right touch. You don't "Win the lottery" as some opposition fans like to say, if you're a small shiite Club in the Outer Hebrides. Having said that, it may well be interesting to see what happens at Wrexham in the future.

Presumably this award doesn’t take the fans into account

Great achievement by winning CL not an easy competition to win 👍

Most certainly a well deserved award,for Chelsea and the Premier league.
