It would be good just to get into the top four any given positive stat - goals, shots on goal, touches in the opposition box, forward passes….. hell, how about a positive goal difference?!
60% of goals in Spurs league games have been scored against us. 🤦
On a more positive note - our last 21 home games (since start of February) have only seen 5 defeats - to three clubs (Villa, Chelsea x2, United x2), so our home form should offer some encouragement.

Ace if we can stumble to the January window within 5 points of top 4 or 8 points with our game in hand, then I fancy Conte might get it done.
I’ve been banging this drum for a while, but outside of the top 3 (who along with Bayern are the best 4 teams in Europe) this league is absolutely pizz poor. One of the worst Arsenal sides I have ever seen are pushing for top 4, Wolves are in with a shout having only scored 1 goal in their last 4 games against Palace, West Ham, Norwich and Burnley. Leicester can’t keep a clean sheet if their lives depended on it and United are stepping into the unknown with Ralf.

We're not in a position to be talking about going on a mad run at the moment. We've still got the same players in that team that have let us down badly in the the past. We'll have to win ugly and hopefully get a bit of luck until we can get some fresh blood through the door in January. Romero's a big miss.
Conte was livid with the second string not putting in the effort and making mistakes the other night and rightly so. You wait until he sees what Dier and some of the first 11 have also got up their sleeves. It's a shame that Conte hasn't had a full pre-season and a few of his signings this year as 4th would be there for the taking. A lot depends on what we can do in January this season.

Definitely more confident at home than away. I think we will win. Be good to win by at least 2 goals for once.
Conte needs to solve the Lucas v Ndombele conundrum.
Lucas needs to adjust his game to be effective if he starts. I think he should not take on any player in or around our half. We need to get him running at defences in the final third.

Kane needs to step up. I still believe our best game and most threatening we have looked was without Kane against last season champions and this needs to change sooner than later.
