Royal does look solid defensively.
Don’t think he’s got much going forward.

We need creativity from out wide in that system so maybe worth a go.

If Navas can convert I have full faith in Lucas. It might even extend his career. Has same skillset as Hakimi.

He seems to get turned easily at right back.
Noticed it a few times.

I think I remember reading Royal played there for Betis sometimes. Maybe filled in due to injury cover.

I would try it against Norwich. We need to try and improve our goal difference and this is one of the few chances we have to try and get goals. If we can't beat the bottom team at home then it doesn't bode well.

Bergwijn is not good enough to play in our team.

Would rather NDombele be accommodated as a no:10... behind Kane & Son...

Would have no problem with Lucas being tried as a RWB though... see if it works

Royal needs time. Once he's settled in and learns the lingo we'll hopefully see an improvement. I can't work out what type of character he is. He likes to get his foot in but then has moments where he looks too soft. I think he's got something about him to develop into a decent defender but I haven't been blown away so far.

Ah yes...they've sunk to the bottom. Norwich drew with 10 man Newcastle though.

The commentator said last night Romero out until February at least I thought it was the New Year at the earliest, is February likely?

Not the worst idea. He's big, physical and a decent defender. Strangely (as with all things Spurs) We've managed to sign the only Brazilian FB in history who's crap going forward

I'd take anyone over Sanchez.... Horrible footballer

I like this team (Ex Romero). Having Skipp and PEH provides solidity in Midfield and having NDombele (if he can be bothered) and Moura in the team is a good balance of pace/ direct running/ transition and someone with a bit of creativity

Still think we need a decent number 10.... Don't think GLC, NDombele and Dele have any future at Spurs

I'd love us to make an approach for James Madison in Jan

Just great...after all the Covid debacle. You couldn't make it up. Waste of a purchase. Luckily he's young but knowing our luck he will not be the same player when he returns.

Moura would make a good WB... Works hard, tracks back, along with Son is our best player when it comes to getting us up the pitch at pace. Moura's end product is pretty hopeless so if him moving to WB allows us to play a proper/ creative No 10, then it would be a win/win
