I did wonder about his celebration… or lack of.
Aimed at his critics? Or himself?
If he is miffed about the criticism, then play better week on week.
Simple really.
Better than cupping his ears.
Let’s hope he concentrates now he is tied with Kane for goals
I also thought Lucas was a bit muted initally

Why was he sucking his thumb? I don't think Sanchez knows what day of the week it is tbh
He was probably worried that he would fall over celebrating like when he tries to defend.

Perhaps it had something to do with the little boy Arthur and the press that surrounded that whole situation

Struggling to see a link here?
i liked the lack of celebration tbh and i like Sanchez. its a shame too much of the time he covers himself in no glory whatsoever and isnt reliable.
He probably read the comments on his social media posts and thought 'feck celebrating with you bunch of caaants.' Good on him.
Liked the way he and Dier bumped chests

We got Morecombe at the home in FA Cup 🙂
Sanchez speaking on the OS:
“That moment (against NS Mura)... let’s say the conditions were tough for everyone, I was unlucky in those last actions, as a defender, that’s always tough to take.
“Football will always give you a chance. The manager knows, everyone knows when you are giving everything, and football gives you the chance, not to celebrate, but to be comfortable with yourself again.”
- Looks like the celebration was for himself... righting a wrong. Let's hope it does the World of good for his confidence.
