We need to move along the senior players as well but Arteta should be fired tonight
It’s not just the struggle to win games, it’s the brand of football that’s completely shocking too. I got it when he initially arrived and was aiming to make the team hard to beat; but when you’re setting up and performing like a Dyche led Burnley side week after week, I’m sorry there’s no level of understanding that can make that remotely acceptable. It’s time to accept Arteta just isn’t up to the job and never was. Wenger would be crucified for performances like this every week - even the wins.
Arteta will remain here this season whether we like it or not (unless things go really south). So I Just hope we do something in January, the attack is totally dead, no one can take chances and we’ve got no one who can regular create chances. This is down to coaching as well, but I don’t think any manager would be happy with our forwards. Defence is generally ok, but midfield is too slow and lacks imagination, and we don’t have any forward who can reliably take a chance. Even though we played totally crap today, we still had opportunities to get something from the game. If you don’t take your chances you’re always going to be susceptible to losing a game in the prem
It was definitely a case of Dr Arsenal tonight. Have to say Everton fully deserved the win.
This club is a pantomime.
Arteta will get abuse but the players need to shoulder some blame.

Nah, 3 seasons in and we have no functional style of play and can't produce chances.

I don't trust this manager and Edu with money, they will end up buying dross again and again. Tell me one or two players they have brought in that really stood out for them in the last 2 years.
How can you spend £150m in the summer and still struggles to win winnable games?

Yup, negatively impressive huh. Though to answer your question

Weird how much faith the owners have in Arteta.
Potter would be perfect for you given your young team. Should get him in ASAP.
It's like the owners believe all you need to do to succeed in football is back the manager. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so facking tragic
You could give the current management set up 10 years and 20bn to spend and they'd still fail
Now two of the clubs we should be at least competing with have made their moves management wise we're going to drift even further

Tomiyasu, Ramsdale white, have been good, lokonga and Tavares have potential, but aren’t ready yet. Guess we need a season to assess how good they are but early signs are positive. But I get the point In more in an attacking and midfield sense. Artetas issue has never really been having a terrible defence, 80% since of the time since he came it’s been good, and organised pretty well, but his main issue however since he arrived here has been in attack. He’s never got it looking consistently good apart from a few games and moments here and there, and that’s mostly from the fact an opponent is crap, or messed up .So not sure I’d trust him being able to recruit the right players there. The better signings he’s made have all been in defence, so I’m just not sure he’s clued up on how to coach a team in attack. Maybe he is and he’s just not got his ideal players yet, so I hope, as he’s very unlikely to be sacked, the club push the boat out and get someone who can finish. Otherwise we’re for sure headed for 8th. Doesn’t matter how solid your defence is, you won’t get far if you can’t score

The sad thing is that one of this will really matter if we keep gutting the squad every summer like we've been doing for the past half decade.
There's still no guarantee that Edu won't ship half a dozen players out and parachute half a dozen in.
Spend is a big talking point about Arsenal this season when you lose games but you've spent pretty well this summer in general, you just need time to get it right. Results like that are just part of the process.
At the end of the day, you're still 7th now which is an improvement on last season thus far and you looked comfortable for the first half last night. Results like last night will just come your way.
