Very Suprised with that result. Ronnie was playing absolutely awful up until when the scores were 7-5.

But that was vintage Ronnie and I am happy he has beaten arguably the 2nd best player currently.

I had given up on Ronnie but looking forward to see what he does now in the masters

Judd is going to lose a lot of points from January- March. 80,000 from German Masters, 125,000 from the Players championship and 50,000 from Gibraltar Open. So he is in real danger of dropping down to 4th unless he can win some events.
Ronnie isn't really going to lose many points until the World championship.

Yes exactly Wetherby, Ronnie went through a really good run against Higgins from 2017 to 2019. Hope he can start beating Higgins again more regularly. He should definitely do better than his last 2 matches against him.

I hope Higgins sends Ronnie up to the Eurosport studio with his tail between his legs for the forseeable future 😂

Im not sure i like this ranking system. Does it really reflect form? Higgins has got to 4 finals in what, the last 5 or 6 tournaments (although 1 was non-ranking), and all he has to show for it is a move from 7th to 6th. Overtaking Murphy who has been crap all season.

Ranking system sucks firstly because there’s never a proper calendar of events. It seems to change round a bit every year

Secondly, some of the best tournaments like Masters and CoC are non-ranking.

Then there’s the Grand Prix, Players and Tour Championship which are all based on 1 year rankings. It’s a bit of a mess really.

The 1st session, Robbo should've been ahead yes, but Ronnie's snookers were pretty good.

In the 2nd session, Robbo was pretty ruthless and when it looked like it would be 6-6, Ronnie missed a pot and he banged in an 80 odd break to make it 7-5

After that, Ronnie dominated with good play. Robbo was playing better until the crunch time where Ronnie played better.
