You know West Ham haven't won a bean since 1980 right ? slightly longer than 13 years. I was 22 years old when that happened, and I am a pensioner now.

West Ham have definitely improved, but they are now coming up against the inevitable mentality shift of the opposition and currently lack the firepower to deal with it.
Burnley would have seen that point yesterday as a result and that’s what you are going to face from the sides outside the top 8 and Leeds, teams settling for a point whether they are home or away.
Beating Chelsea and Liverpool is great, but then taking 2 points from Brighton, Burnley and Wolves undoes those efforts.
Buy a decent striker in January and I might worry, but for now Conte has us as 10 points from 12 and I would say Spurs and United are the better sides at fault track bullying the bottom 12, that’s where 4th is won and lost.

Recent seasons have shown that Arsenal don't get going until about January/Feb. The past 2 seasons have seen us in the bottom half of the table by Christmas. Only to go on barnstorming runs over the final 5 months of the season, narrowly missing out on Europe.
We've done very well to keep up with the chasing pack this season. I wouldn't write us off just yet.
