Your time would have been better spent walking to school to get yourself an education.
Beeb. Totally agree. Is there some street-cred in not being able to spell? The expression "ignorance is bliss" comes to mind and I cannot take the comments seriously of someone who thinks it it clever to say "dis" instead of "this". "Dis" is a relatively new word that has a new meaning. Don't people have front teeth anymore that allows them to speak correctly?
Tanks for your opinion. Ang on a minute though..........Beeb ? Does dat refer to the British Broadcasting Corporation ? If so, a tad hypocritical don't you fink.
Welcome back Doc. I come from an area generally known as Ladbroke Grove. The words are from a mixture of working class English,Irish and West Indian. Dis ? I'll leave it up to you to decide if it's Irish or West Indian.......
Just done the New Year thing via video call in England......now it's just two days away from the showdown wiv Brum. I really fancy us coming away wiv tree points.
Ave just noticed that we ave sold out our allocation for dis game. Plenty of R's fink dis is going to be our season.
Wiv todays Boro game postponed a win tomorrow will give us a play off place agsin.
RR. Ladbroke Grove. Isn't that where " you have to leap across the street, you can lose your life under a taxi cab, you've got to have eyes in your feet " ? Watch out for those minicab drivers and stay safe. <OK>
Will do Doc.......do you reside in Goa ?
No, not in Goa any more unfortunately. Beautiful people, beautiful country and half the price of living in the UK. Only another 10 months until I'm an OAP so I have to do some enquiries re visas, immigration etc. They changed the rules since I had a little bar/restaurant business there. Many British seniors used to spend the British winter in Goa and the summer back in the UK. Those of us that had businesses provided welcome employment for the local people and most of us paid well above what they may otherwise have been able to earn but nationalist politicians increasingly made the situation difficult for us to continue but we carried on.
Then came the worst three weeks of my life. Both my head barman Leroy and other barman Khaji were involved in serious accidents on their motor bikes ( if you know Goa you will know how common they are ). Leroy was wiped out by one of the maniac stone-quarry drivers and his face was shattered needing reconstructive surgery and as there is no NHS in India he had to pay for it out of the money he had saved for his daughter's school fees. Basically all of it.
It was a Monday, our day off, when we heard about it from one of our regular taxi drivers as he took us home after shopping. Two days later it was Khaji who lost three fingers. Neither of them drank alcohol but enjoyed riding their bikes.
Sat with my Mrs that last night when we got home from the bar there was about a minute's silence after we sat down to relax with a drink. Then there was that frightening moment that all men should realise...your wife knows what you are thinking. I turned to her and said that there was something I was thinking that I need to talk about. Her response "Yes. I agree. It's right that we pay Leroy's medical bill. It's not right that his daughter should lose her chance of a good education."
"So what about Khaji ? No problem as a barman but you can't collect as many glasses if you haven't got all your fingers." Perfect reply to that from my lovely lady was "So you get your cute ass out there and collect them then". Talk about being kept in line!
Seems like Chairs doubtful again but i ear Gray's fit. I wonder if we'll name just five subs again. If we gonna get beat i'd prefer it was by Brum rather than covid.
I was told dis morning Gray was fit but i didn't expect him to start.
Dares pressure today on Amos and Field to do well.
It's arf time and it's all good..........We're in front, Cardiff's beating Albion and the "Fools" ave slipped out of the auto spots. And just for good measure Brizzle ave come back to lead Wall. Please, please let it stay the same.
Nuffin lasts forever.....Albion ave already equalised.
