Certainly picked two sets of well behaved fans for this….
You losers still have a singing section? That was funny.
No reason it can’t be done safely and effectively.
Nice to hear, hope it works well.
I’d heard that Palace had had a standing section for a few seasons but never really understood how?
My understanding is the PL wanted all the top 6 to trial it.
Arsenal didn’t want to spend the money on the rails, Liverpool are going to install the rails but have no intention of bringing back standing and the other four were all happy to go along with it to improve match day experience for fans.

Match day experience could also be enhanced with a 10% away allocation, it’s 15% in the cup!
Understandable why Liverpool are against it, to be fair, could open a lot of old wounds.
Arsenal not got enough dough for the rails?
I think this will work well with English fans now. We have come a long way since the days of English fans forcing their way into grounds without a ticket, meaning it is a lot easier to manage. There is almost zero chance of that kind of thing happening these days. English fans are actually very civilised nowadays.
I must admit I have pretty well stood at every Spurs game at the new stadium since it opened, and I am aged 73. I am old school, so enjoy standing but not everyone of my age will enjoy having to stand for 90 minutes. Problem is if everyone else stands, then if you want to watch the match, then you have to stand as well.
They should up the season ticket prices

Some clubs have had safe standing for the last couple of months.
Must be old news.
When you watch footage of games from say, the 70’s, it’s seems almost miraculous that there wasn’t crush injuries or even worse on a weekly basis
I just don't see how it can be safe. Fans have been standing with normal seating for years so I don't see how providing a safer environment for them to stand could possibly make standing safer. Just doesn't make any sense. So risky. I'm shaking.

The year is 2051, Sandy should be 108, he's 73 again for the 53rd year running and still posting on 606 with his first half of the season Spurs are the best and will win the league and his second half of the season Spurs are awful and need a new manager.
