No he's right, they routinely benefit from poor refereeing decisions.
Why is it so difficult for Paul to admit that the wrong team got the 3 p yesterday. Every other so called expert said so. No shame to admit it.
City went from the 18th - 56th minute without having a single shot. We nullified them quite well until Bernardo dived.
It was 13 vs 10 basically.
To your article, Tu.
I am proud of that performance. We deserve certainly something out of this game.
We have to keep this level of performance now and we really can make it. No player played bad yesterday. I have seen a real team in which every player was fighting for each other.

You got slapped all over the field even your manager admitted we were the better side.
You can use stats to push any narrative you want. A lot of Cities posession was in areas that didn't hurt us and their passing was very slow and easy to defend against most of the time. How many times was Ramsdale asked to make a save, none that I can remember.
To be honest I really wasn't impressed with them. Seemed very boring to watch, saw a bit of their game against Brentford much the same again.

I noted that Ian Wright said it when he said it was a clear trip on Silva and that Ederson cleared the ball cleanly. But he is a City fan and ex player, obviously....,Oh

He didn't trip him he dived you can see that without even needing the replay. It was given because he pulled his shirt which obviously wasn't enough for him to go down because he took another two or three steps before throwing himself to the ground.

Ian is entitled to this opinion.
Most saying that was a dive. If that was a dive, then it can't be a foul. If there isnt a foul, there isnt a pen.
The fact that you are claiming the wrong team got the 3 points and that every expert said so. That is factually incorrect. Every expert said that Arsenal played well, and Pep claimed they were the better team, but the better team does not always win, as we all know.

But there clearly was a foul, in fact two. The trip and the shirt pull. Or did Silva fall over Xhaka's leg? The leg that he always accidentally sticks out when he is standing there?

When was the pull and if you see that pull is it enough for a pen. The guy was already falling down, so the pull wasnt the reason he fell down.
Mr Walton said yesterday they awarded the pull of the shirt for that pen.
I strongly believe that the trip was enough for the penalty but the shirt pull, although clearly a foul and so technically a penalty, probably wasn't enough. The trip however, had only one intention, which was to stop Silva from getting away from him. Penalty all day long.
I also think that any team that intentionally tries to scuff up the penalty spot should concede a second penalty, but that will never happen sadly.

But the point is the contact between both players wasn't enough for him to hit the ground unintentionally on his part you can see as he goes down he extends both his legs to accentuate the dive. If a player is doing that the he can stay on his feet which he didn't do in this case. If the referee gave a penalty for the shirt pull then ok but he didn't it took VAR to tell him to reverse the decision.

So how do you explain the fact that Mr. Walton said the pen was given because of the pull when you also confirmed that wasnt the reason?
Btw he hasn't touched (tripped) him at all. It was a free fall.
But the intention to trip/ obstruct Silva was clear and that is a foul all day long. The fall to the floor was accentuated but the intention to stop him playing the ball by foul means was also clear.
