Guess both teams will make a few changes for this game but hopefully wolves can progress to get more game opportunities for fringe players in the next rounds.
In goal it’s usually Ruddy for these games although Moulden who we signed from Man City is highly rated and this could be a game to test out if he is ready to step up to be Sa’s understudy next season.
The game gives a first chance to find out how Bruno intends covering for the absence of Saiss. Dion Sanderson has been recalled and should get a chance. Marcal, Hoever and Dendoncker would all stand a chance of an audition.
For wing backs it could be Hoever on the right and Giles on the left who has been recalled from Cardiff. Although Ait Nouri is now fit and might get a game.
In midfield it could be a chance for Cundle who has been on the bench recently and maybe Jordao who Bruno seems to rate. MGW looks unlikely to be recalled but will be ineligible for the Blades.
Fabio looks a certain starter up front after his promising showing from the bench at Old Trafford. Probably with any two from Podence, Trincao and Traore.
My guess
Ruddy
Sanderson, Coady, Kilman
Hoever, Neves, Cundle, Giles
Trincao, Silva, Podence
Has Wolfie missed a couple of nights in the comp or is it me missing something?
I agree with resting Moutinho and Jiminez by the way but would play Traore

He has missed a few rounds for the other competitors while at the same time predicting results himself. No surprise he is now top of the league! 😂😂
No it is definitely me, got confused with fantasy football having a different game week set up , apologies Wolfie
No problem hctl. I only cover Premier League games, not cup or European matches.
Wrong again Black Country. Only missed one week of the other comp I'm in on here, the one run by Penshawdave. So don't be a cretin every day of your miserable life, take a day off.

Someone needs to start auditing your comp Witless.
Unbelievable that you have gone from bottom of the league last year to top this year?
The fix is in. 👍
Feel free to audit. Maybe if you spent time going back to all the predictions from every round, it'll keep you off here and other boards and posters will get a break from all your wumming.
Take your time, cretin.

Think Gomes is just here during the winter break in the Swiss League. He has been getting good reviews over there so be good for Bruno to see him. I read that a Japanese midfielder had travelled with him from Grasshoppers for a trial
Lots of tickets unsold for Sundays game. Guess in anticipation of it being a Wolves Reserves v Sheffield Utd Reserves game. Last I saw, Blades have only sold half their allocation
Still tickets available for the Southampton game on the 15th, got one today. With over a week to go, however, I expect it to sell out, maybe not the away contingent.
MGW and Sarkic now back at Wolves but only for treatment for injuries. They are expected to rejoin their loan clubs once fit
New signing, someone called Hawabe. Further details to follow.

Wolves have signed Japanese international midfielder Hayao Kawabe from Grasshoppers. He will train at Compton this month and is then expected to go back to Switzerland for the rest of the season on-loan. #wwfc
hes 26, so doubt we'll see him, this is I think, us helping Grasshoppers cash flow
If we are restricted by cash/ffp you do have to question the motives for buying players for other clubs
" . . . the midfielder heads to Molineux on a three-and-a-half-year deal, and is expected to return to Switzerland to on loan to complete the season with Grasshoppers after spending January in the Black Country.
Wolves technical director Scott Sellars said: “Naturally, Hayao is a player we’ve watched a lot and he’s done really well this season.
“He’s an attacking midfield player, very energetic, very busy, and has good quality. He’s really shone at Grasshoppers this year, and he’s one of the main reasons they’re doing so well.
“Due to the GBE criteria for signing international players, Hayao is a player who is eligible to sign for a British club this month, but may not be in the future, which is why we’ve moved now to confirm his signing.
“Hayao will spend January with Bruno’s group while the Swiss Super League is on a winter break, then he’ll likely return to Grasshoppers to finish the season there, as he has been an important player for them so far this season.”
