I know little about him. But some of his views seem OK to me.
Anti Jihadism
Anti Brexit
A to Scottish independence
All of which I agree with
But as I say, it's a quick look at Wiki
“I’m trying to show you in real time how you’re being targeted by state PsyOps [and] manipulative behavioural psychology. I see it from afar. I’m showing you with evidence in every post (more evidence than my detractors post, combined).
It’s time we all spelt it out plainly ... We are witnessing a global palace coup that suspends our rights – under the guise of an emergency that has been proven to be manipulated – by a network of fascists who seek a New World Order governed by technocratic corporatism.”
If you'd told me this morning Maajid Nawaz was Tux I wouldn't have believed you and yet here we are.
He used to be a member of an Islamist terrorist group, which says it all about him.
‘This month Nawaz also signed an open letter to the FBI and other western intelligence organisations urging them to investigate whether Covid-19 lockdowns are a “global fraud”, designed to impoverish the west by the Chinese Communist party.
On 12 January Nawaz responded to a wild conspiracy theory about US secretary of state Mike Pompeo tweeting regularly every 30 minutes as a signal to Trump supporters that there was an imminent secret plan to retain power under way.’
He’s done a lot of good work with his activism, but has lost the plot recently. It started when he began parroting the nonsense about the US election being stolen and ANTIFA carrying about the capitol riots.
Now he’s just gone full new world order conspiracy nonsense. Whether he’s being paid or he actually believes it is anyones guess. I’m sure he’ll pop up on talkradio or GB news before you know it, claiming he was cancelled.

The funny thing is, there’s a more convincing theory that the state psyops are aimed at conspiracy theorists like this, especially regarding Qanon.
I listen to a fair bit of LBC and I remember him sitting in for JoB. He seems at surface to be a stand up guy but there were a few occasions when he started to talk being anti-lockdown and how there are “higher powers” crap I soon realised he has a few screws loose

For sure. If I was a superpower like Russia I’d love never having to fire a single bullet but instead have bot farms that take advantage of the many many dumb people who are pretty soulless and don’t believe anything who in turn will believe everything. Divide and conquer.
It’s America where it comes from, I believe. Qanon being one used to see just how successful they could be.

Which is ironic as she had the devils coooock in her mouth for an all too hilarious period of time
As far as I know, he was an Islamic extremist who gained popularity after renouncing his old views, then went on to advocate for a series of other extreme ideas. This time last year he was promoting the idea that evidence was about to come to light that Biden had stolen the US election, but declined to acknowledge it when a series of predicted outcomes didn't come to pass. Then he moved on to Covid denialism and anti-vax conspiracies.

She's gone down the QAnon road and having allowed herself to be banged by BoJo for 4 years she carries some "credibility" that other nutcases don't have.
A grifter right from the start, hopping from one grift to another.
More news at 1.
He was crying about LBC being the only income for him and he’s got a wife and child, he should’ve thought about risking that when he was peddling utter rubbish on Twitter. Guys a waaanker. I feel sorry for his wife and kid, surprised his wife ain’t upped sticks.
I don’t think he’s a grifter, I think he’s just predisposed to believing mental bollacks.
Bloke needs professional help.
Yeah he's always been a lunatic.
Got exposure, and rich, as a result of having views that fitted a certain agenda at a certain time and now being the cn ut he always was.
This shouldn't come as any surprise as his links in the US are on the right, despite his liberal reputation over here.
That's something not right about him. His backstory has a lot of fabrications—he's a fraud.
Don't forget this is the guy who at one time had Tommy Robinson as part of this so-called anti-extremism think tank.
He’s always been an extremist but he’s just managed to keep it under control for a good number of years. COVID has opened up latent mental health issues in many. What we’re seeing now is a return to form.
I was just reading today that his Quilliam Foundation, which ostensibly had the noble mission of resisting Islamic extremism, was pretty unscrupulous and a source of pernicious misinformation, including an inflammatory, totally false claim (later debunked by the Home Office but widely spread by Far Right discourse) that 85% of grooming gangs in the UK were of Asian origin.
The man has been a koont.
He didn't think about his wife and/or child when he went out clubbing with random women or getting drunk and groping women in a strip club.
He tarnished the name Quilliam by using it for his Quilliam Foundation (look into their funding and who were funding them). The guy only chased what would get his name out. This is the guy who aligned with Tommy Robinson (the latter of which used the former) and paid him. Red Russian already mentioned their debunked claims about grooming gangs.
Funnily enough , it was his views about Q and Covid that led to the split of the horrid organisations and it seems its his views also led to him losing his job at LBC.
This guy has very little support amongst Muslims. He has a good following on the right-wing anti-Muslim organisation and the far right. And hearing him in LBC was a joke. When someone got him in a corner, he would mute them and go on a tirade before making it look like they dropped off. Man is a coward as well.
