I think people outside of Chelsea don't understand the importance of James and Chilwell to us and in my opinion, their absence is what's derailed us over the last few months.
We have no like for like players to fill in for them of the same level.
Combine missing them today with the fact we started with the totally ineffectual Ziyech and Pulisic who have shown no form in the last two seasons and there was only one outcome today.
I also think it's a tribute to Rudiger, Silva and Sarr that it was only 1 nil - and Sarr just looks better every game he plays very impressed by him again today!
100% Brummie. The wing backs are arguably the most important part of how we play so missing those two for so many games was always going to feck us.
We need better replacement options there than Alonso and Azpi.
Definitely agree regarding Reece James and Chilwell.
They pretty much create most of our chances and funnily
enough are probably our most clinical players in front of goal
They are to us, what Mane and Salah are to Liverpool - take them out and we're a different team!

Kepa was also pretty good today, no reason to fear him. Couldnt do much about the goal Kante lost debryne there on the edge of the box was always gonna give us trouble.

Yep agree totally. We are a completely different attacking force when those two play. But Tuchel has to find a easy to make us effective without them.

It's the equivalent of Liverpool not having both Robertson & TAA for an extended period of time. One out is manageable but not both.
