Yeah all good points Biggish. I find the modern day Chelsea fan is very impatient and quite clueless when it comes to the notion that young players can and often do improve considerably as they head towards their peak.

Maybe it's because we haven't had a very good record with youngsters in the Abramovich era, until recently anyway.

I think you maybe right Superb. It is only three years ago when we moved to giving our your players a pathway into the 1st team. I think the previous 14 years of buying and expecting immediate results from players still permeates our fan culture.

Yeah so many of our fans have never known anything different until more recently when Lampard started it all by bringing the Class of 2019 through with much success.

Must have seen different games to me. And I’ve seen every game he’s played!

However before we look at Werner, havertz and pulisic we need rid of alonso.

Agree Biggish. Got to give the younger lot time no matter how frustrating they’ve been. It’s the experienced lot that I’m losing my patience with.

Good player. I think he’d suit your team. Would play really well in that Firmino role.

Yes I get that. Ziyech had put in some excellent performances this season, but also many poor ones like yesterday. At his age he should be at his peak and consistent. He is one player I don't mind seeing leave. I have to add Werner to another for the departure lounge. He is old enough to have honed his finishing skills by now.

Ziyech I'd 100% move on in the summer with Gallagher taking his spot.

Werner has the season to show some sort of consistency to his play. Has been in and out of the team a lot this season. If his finishing is still woeful he should be moved on asap before his transfer value plummets.

Except firmino is better so why would they swap?

Yeah I'd sell Ziyech too. I dunno if it's just his manner but he hasn't looked happy for awhile. I do wonder if his nose might've been put out of joint by the signing of Havertz who's basically a better version of him.

He'll recover if he moved to the right club cos he is a proper baller, maybe we just weren't right for him.

Good article btw.

I'm personally someone who'd prefer a squad made up almost entirely of +25 y/o with one or two prospects, just my philosophical bend, but if you do have a bunch of young players you have to be patient, it's part of the deal & something a lot of Chelsea fans wanted not long ago. Some will make it, some won't, but we won't know for a few years.

His transfer value won't plummet, he's a top player and we miss him a lot when he doesn't play. We're at our best when he plays regardless of how good he is in front of goal.

Werner is not a top player superb! Sorry mate couldn’t disagree more. He’s barely a footballer 59 me

I agreed with this article, and have 5d accordingly.

I know you're not going it Biggish, but I do get annoyed how some fans use Salah as a stick to beat the club with.

Nobody foresaw his rise and if they did, they never said it on here, nor did anyone mourn his initial loan then sale.

But Salah also took his career into his own hands in a Ronaldo style and worked on his upper body strength when over in Italy.

This was why I was hoping Pulisic would do a little work on his upper body

KDB hardly got a chance at the club. Most people knew he was good.

It’s different to others who have frequently underwhelmed. There’s virtue in being patient, but at some point you have to draw a line. I’m not sure how much more time certain players deserve. If they’ve had two full seasons and still aren’t convincing, maybe they’re simply not that good, or at least not a good fit for the squad.

For me... Ziyech is actually probably the best bet of all of them... And he actually has shown glimmers of that potential in the last week or two, I'm ok with Havertz

Don't see it with Werner or pulisic
