It takes the same amount of time via public transport from Hotspur to the King Power as it does via driving. You could relax and have a beer on the train.
Hi Matt
Aim for Putney Road, Freemans Common - this is an industrial estate and the various business open up their car parks for footie matches. They charge £6 but all money goes to local charities. It's about 10 minute walk to the ground.
Don't park in the big cinema car park nearby because they have APN recognition and send you a nice £100 fine afterwards!
There's got to be a Richard III joke in here somewhere.

Thanks for the advice, I did see that mentioned. Can you get to that without having to go up and past the ground as I'll be pushed for time this evening?

Cockney rhyming for how we’ll play tonight probably
When I went I parked in a McDonald’s car park about 20 mins from the ground
Can I interest you in 1 hour train from New Street to Leicester, then 20-25 min walk to the King Power?
Benefits inlcude:
Health benefits
Financial benefits
Environmental benefits
Potential journey time savings
Beer benefits
There might be fit birds on the train but unlikely in your car

Tbf I would much rather getting the train however, I would be shocked if it was cheaper than driving.
Even if you factor in wear and tear on your car, it'll still be cheaper...unless it's just London and South West trains that are ridiculously expensive.

Around £16 return for that journey. So if you're paying £6 for parking then that's £10. So £5 each way in fuel for car to be the same price.

Hopefully Matt won’t be stuck in the car park as long as he was
Hope you stayed to the end.
What a game to witness...think I might have needed medical attention if I'd been there.
What a night!
