It’s been a hugely frustrating season Foxello. We haven’t found a formula that works with the players available and we’ve been so inconsistent.
I think I’m with you in that I can’t see what else we can get out of this season except dig in, see the season out and then regroup in the summer with players that want to be here and fight.
Anyone that doesn’t go.
There’s no entitlement here, I don’t “expect” us to be higher in the league. I just go to each game and sit frustrated with performances looking disjointed and tactics off but individuals pulling us through sometimes.
Feels like Rodgers needs to reshape the squad in the summer (if he’s going to be here too!).

Yes it's a tough Season but Rodgers IS the issue in most cases, the Club need to reshape the Management in the Summer.
I've felt like that for a while Foxello especially after going out of the Europa League group stage the way we did.
Glad I'm not the only one, Mersey.
For me, the most frustrating thing is that we know they are good players. We have a bloody good team! We spent over 95% of the past two seasons in the top four! So why are they so bad this season? There doesn't seem to be any reason for it, other than a mix of injuries and general malaise.
When you have a crap team, comprising of crap players, you learn to accept crap results. It's so much harder and more hurtful when you have a good team and good players getting crap results.
Rodgers needs to take a lot of responsibility for performances for sure TB.
I’m more concerned with knowing if he’s here for the long haul or not. If he is, let’s re-shape the squad in the summer to play the way he wants to. Right now I feel like every game is a bit of a trial rather than a plan.
If 4-2-3-1 is what he wants then let’s get the squad sorted to do it.
If he has eyes on a bigger job, get someone else in and rebuild.
The uncertainty is also frustrating!!!

Yeah, a lot of my enthusiasm for the season disappeared after the Napoli disaster. But then they give you splurts of hope, like the Liverpool win, and you think "oh OK, here we go!". And then as quickly as the hope comes back, we have a performance like that, and the apathy returns

Agree. When for I feel that this is the most talented squad I’ve ever seen at the club overall. To see them never look in control of a game is frustrating as you say.

Again, that's because of Rodgers!
We're worse when he's got his players and plays his way, have been for the last two years, that's why we've done so well, we rarely had his players so couldn't play his way.
