Got to be Werner, came with the big rep but has looked like joelinton most of the time
Ziyech just annoys me. So him
so,
Pulisc 16 gols in 64 game
the others co-bined 21 gols in 195 game
Pulisic has 7 in his last 39 though.
Getting worse
It’s why I find the Lukaku criticism slightly harsh, yes he’s not been playing great himself but he’s essentially being given half a chance a game at the moment and he’s never been a striker that makes his own chances
He’s not getting fed and is inevitably struggling, I’ve touched on it on other articles but our attacking recruitment is so poor, we seem to just buy the flavour of the month with no identification of potential chemistry with other players or the team.
Like these attackers when we bought them were world class or expected to be world class. But they just essentially have no chemistry in either this style or with each other
We are buying 8/10 attackers but the chemistry seems to result in them being 5/10 or 6/10 attackers
Mane is the classic example, he was a 7/10 attacker at Southampton but in that Liverpool team and style and with the perfect gelling in that team he has become a 9/10 attacker (was similar with Sahin at Dortmund, amazing in the system but struggled outside of it or look at Moses for us under Conte)
We need to be buying attackers that fit Tuchel’s system not just a bunch of good attackers and then hoping they’ll connect it’s a mis match

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Very very arrogant
Reminds me of a worse version of Adel Taarabt, at least Taarabt had some magic in his locker at times
Agree on Lukaku. If people watch the games they’ll see him make run after run after run and no one plays him in. The other day I saw CHO take the ball forward, stop and then pass back to the defence when Lukaku was waiting to be played in. No wonder he’s annoyed. If I were Tuchel I’d play Havertz up top with him in a 352 and just get the ball forward as much as possible.

Agreed, and it’s why I didn’t really get Tuchel’s angry comments saying he won’t build the team or base the team around Lukaku. Which is essentially what needs to be done to get the best out of Lukaku as seen with Belgium where everyone just feeds him relentlessly from all different ways whether it be balls in the box, ball to feet or crosses and that’s why he’s so prolific
Here as per usual it seems to be every man for himself and we don’t play to a strikers strength or for a striker, our open play for a top 6 team is atrocious, we score so little goals
But it also begged the question why on earth did Tuchel buy him in the first place he knew what he was getting or must of known what he’d need. Otherwise buy attackers and play a false 9 system
Can’t remember the exact figure but I’m sure out of our last 30 goals scored something like 20 of them have been from set plays or penalties
Was nice knowing you Oscar. Cmf will be at your door in mere minutes now armed to the t’ts

No wonder their golden generation won nothing then. Imagine having the two Hazard's, De Bruyne and then deciding the one to build around is Lukaku.
Even Ole wasn't stupid enough to do that.
bit unfair on Timo hes provided a lot of assists and scored a few but hes had some awful luck with var he would be way ahead in our top scorer list if his 19? disallowed goals counted. i know its an excuse but there have been quite a few very dodgy offside calls against hinm at times. my vote is a tie between CHO and Ziyech. Odoi runs like a headless chicken and Ziyech performs like a girl scout in a fight with mike tyson he so facking weak its unbelievable.
As the opposition if I would have any of your attackers have chance I would hope its Werner.
Will probably score against us on Sunday now

Are these stats right
• Werner - 46 PL games, 7 goals
• Havertz - 43 PL games, 6 goals
• Pulisic - 64 PL games, 16 goals
• Ziyech - 35 PL games, 4 goals
• Hudson-Odoi - 71 PL games, 4 goals
Probably not but either way that's just not good enough from those players.
