Tired is it an excuse?

I'm not buying it. Spurs and Burnley are good examples to support the tiredness excuse but how many more than Liverpool or any other team have you played?

If you compare the size and quality of your squad to teams like Burnley and Spurs then this excuse is just that, an excuse. In my humble opinion anyway.

3 more than Liverpool since international break, 4 more than City. That along with much worse injury/covid problems

I'll give you City but Liverpool's squad is thinner than yours with less quality outside the starting 11. Also had worse injuries I think and AFCON too.

Tuchel's shelf life with a squad is usually short, looks like he couldn't get a tune out of Chelsea for a full year.

Liverpool’s squad is better than ours. Cheaper but better.

Tbf, the ones that are more than City are down to being more successful in the cups. 3 league cup games and one moved for CWC? It's a nice problem to have.

I've enjoyed City's league cup wins but there's no doubt it adds to fixture problems at this time of year. That's not even adding the CWC into it for Chelsea this year. The injuries do seem to have come at a bad time for Chelsea.

I'm tired of people making tired excuses, not TT though because he has his job to do and and must try and cover for his players ,even if it's very hard for him at times.

So , no more tired excuses, we have a good squad and if we can't improve our performances ,then obviously some of these players are not good enough and need moving on.

Tell the players they're tired and they'll be tired. I'm not sure it's a great angle for a manager to take, let fans and pundits chat about that.

I'm not sure they have played THAT much more than others anyway. Not per player, certainly if you include international games.
