No idea how good Fisher is but Overton is not Test Match level.

Not sure about Fisher but I don't mind getting a look at him and Mahmood.

Only one wicket down at lunch is good by England standards. Not much life in the pitch. Even at this early stage you'd put your money on the draw.

The two most consistent opening bowlers in county cricket both play for Essex. Glad England are not wrecking them. But Sam Cook should certainly be give a look at. Young and getting quicker each season.

I love players like Lees. bat forever hardly score and still get out cheaply.

Thing about batting at glacial pace is you look really dumb if you end up getting out in the 30s.

I think Lawrence has a bit about him. I compare him to Pope who's obviously more talented but mentally weak.

Not sure Lawrence has enough quality long term but certainly deserves a decent run.
