Gil loan back to Spain irritates me. Need a loan in this country bit hasn't done enough to make much of a claim to English clubs
None of them have the will to be the players they could be.
Maybe not Bryan, I’ll give him the benefit

Gil going back to Spain is a joke.
Should be off to Brighton or Burnley
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The only plausible explanation I saw is that he was terribly home-sick.
He's still a bit raw and young. Hopefully, he'll come back to us a grown man with a pair of cojones
Also, apparently we have been chasing Kulu from the start of the transfer. So this BS about him being a scraps is misleading

If that’s true then what frustrates me so much is Levy leaving it until the very last day of every window to do any serious business. I know it’s hard to buy players in January but if he had been our target from the start we could have brought him in early and maybe now he’d be ready to make an impact in the first team. How long now before they get settled and actually get some game time? Also I doubt we would have gone for him if we’d managed to get Diaz so it does seem like he was not our first choice

Think this is an easy one to guess tbh. The club always said that we needed to let the outgoings happen before incomings. If you look at it now, Ndom is almost done deal, so is Gil and Lo Celso will be next. Dele is the one not done yet but with Frank Lampard being at Everton, he is a fan of him, so expect a serious bid from them.
Until we have some movements on the outgoings we couldn't do business. Also, remember, most businesses done are loans.
Until we get CL, and more revenue in, we are not in a very good situation financially but this is my view,

Same especially given that it might be an 18-month loan. If we were buying him for the future we should have just loaned him out straight away like we did with the guy from Metz. The Gil situation truly is bizarre especially given how much we made for him. A part of me thinks we only made this transfer to get Lamela off the books.

Does it matter though? I personally don't give a sheet how we're portrayed in the media
Sky's Dharmesh is running with a story that Porto want to hijack Gil's move?
Perfect time to play the game

I think it's hard for any new player coming in and the manager changes inside a couple months. Especially young players new to this league.

I personally reckon Gill is unsettled, so the club have found a club in his native Spain to take him on loan.
If it was for him to gain first team experience then a Championship loan would have made far more sense.

this
think in this case, club has shown compassion and allowed him loan back to Spain rather than in England
