I cants stand levy and Enic but
Troure is a Barca fan. He was never gonna come here
Liverpool are a bigger club than us right now and can garruntee champs league, so Diaz was never gonna come to us
If conte wanted the Newcastle fella, I think we would have got him
As for Ndombele high buy out fee it’s just the club protecting themselves after getting burnt on the foyth sale.
After a great season on loan he was worth more than what the fee we agreed and we lost out.
We don’t want a situation like what happened with Lo celso & Romaro where the on loan club buys cheaply to flip the player straight away for a huge profit.

4/10 for me. Think we have got the priorities completely wrong once again - winger should never have been on the list and CM needed to be a more dynamic player so think we’ve got that wrong too. I just think the message we send with getting rid of all our creativity just doesn’t sit right with me, regardless of whether or not they were playing.
What our top 4 rivals do shouldn’t matter - we have our own situation to focus on and each situation is different.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think we have gone for substance over style.
You talk about losing creativity but these are the PL stats of those gone:
NDombele - 63 appearances. 6 goals 5 assists
GLC - 55 Appearances. 1 goal. 3 assists.
Even Bentacur as a DM has a better output than these 2 have managed at Spurs (11 assists over last 2 seasons).
I do not see us as losing that much creativity, especially from a midfield 2 who really do not fit the system.

Well all of that is excuses..we were after those guys...had them "signed up", Levy style.
We now have a weak back four, no additions...so you put up with Sanchez and Tanganga.
The RWB Conte wanted hasn't arrived, (that was Traore) so we are stuck wityh Emerson or Doherty.
Son is injured.
Kane had Bergwijn as backup...hope that works.
Betancur seems like a good import.
Kulusevski is more of a doubt, never actually played for Juve, out on loan at two clubs.
Really don't think this was what Conte was asking for.
We'll see what happens next.

Two players when we needed four?
Can we stop with this " 2 Juve rejects" BS.
Both players have played a big part in Juve's last 2 seasons - Each 19/20 appearances this season, and 33/35 last season. People wouldnt describe Diaz as a Porto reject !
Kulu will be like Eriksen for us but more physical
Bentancur will be a hybrid of Modric and Dembele
My main concern is the longevity of Conte. It looks like we're backing him and moulding a squad for 343, which is great. But it's quite an usual formation and style he has. I'd be gutted if we got the squad in his image and he left summer 2023! Hopefully though he sees us as worth hanging around with.

Assuming no major injuries till the end of the season then we should be fine. The guys that have left might have offered little but at least they were bodies to be counted on and would have contributed. We could be back to square one in the summer though as we will still be stuck with 3 of them if Conte doesn't want them.
Again we could be playing silly games in the last days of the Summer window trying to shift them.

Coming through from the youth system, Kulusevski made his senior debut for Atalanta in 2019, before joining Parma on loan at the beginning of the 2019–20 season. He joined Juventus during the winter transfer window for €35 million, and was sent back to Parma on loan for the rest of the season. In January 2022, Kulusevski was sent on loan to Tottenham Hotspur in England.
Yeah he got to play some games at Juve and then got loaned out to us.
This guy's a loaner!
You'll see.

I think they have returned to leagues that better suit them and should show form, making a sale easier, to the loan club or another, certainly better than having them spend time on our bench - NDombele has been training alone and GLC didnt make the last 2 squads.
We could make £50m out of them 2 if they do well.

Can we stop with this " 2 Juve rejects" BS.
Both players have played a big part in Juve's last 2 seasons - Each 19/20 appearances this season, and 33/35 last season. People wouldnt describe Diaz as a Porto reject !
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not true. Kulusevskii was out on loan at two clubs.
Betancur is a better prospect.
But these two last second imports are nowhere near enough to put us in contention for top four.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kulusevski was on loan to Parma in the 19/20 season
He returned to Juve for last season (20/21), making 47 total appearances and this season (21/22) he has made 27 appearances.
FACT CHECKED™
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Coming through from the youth system, Kulusevski made his senior debut for Atalanta in 2019, before joining Parma on loan at the beginning of the 2019–20 season.
You'll see.

I think they have returned to leagues that better suit them and should show form, making a sale easier, to the loan club or another, certainly better than having them spend time on our bench - NDombele has been training alone and GLC didnt make the last 2 squads.
We could make £50m out of them 2 if they do well.
