Depressing times.

Annoyingly I thought we played quite well tonight.

Get Poch to continue the drought

We lost, but a little unluckily, and were easily the best team until we had a shot at goal.
Ronaldo probably our worst player, Bruno missed two great chances, but had a good game apart from that.
And it was handball.

Ahh who cares? It’s only football

We played well for the best part of an hour but the finishing was awful. Then we tired (we always do) and when their dubious goal went in, we were never likely to recover.

Poch will likely win more trophies than us this season 😂

Should never of lost that game , boro couldn’t string 2 passes together they were so poor , thing is United weren’t much better tbf

Only going to get harder to win trophies going forward as Newcastle grow. Every chance they'll finish above us within a couple of years

Except it was onside. West Ham with their xG of 0.26 got exactly what they deserved from that game and it was a beautifully worked winning goal too. Better than anything West Ham even attempted in that match.

As for players handling the ball in an unnatural manner, well that clearly should be grounds to disallow a goal

It was onside. The angle they used was more than enough to show that. I'd say you were unlucky, but with 0.26 xG you clearly got what was deserved.
