He was good today. Shame he was playing when Rashford was on the field as well
He does this. He may well be dreadful on Tuesday. You can never tell with him.

We usually play better when he starts. Was good to have him back as the football is just more enjoyable.

Only player who can play well for months and have that all erased with one bad game.
That's why you get silly comments about inconsistency.
As much as people moan about Pogba, a Pogba playing rubbish is still better than Fred
I like to laugh at Penguin look-a-like Maguire.

well he hasn't played for us at all for 3 months, so there's that.
if he has twice as many poor games as good ones, maybe you can explain how he is our highest rated player on whoscored this season (well, stripping out phil jones and his one game), as he has been for 4 of his 6 seasons. they also have him as our best or 2nd best player in 4 of the 7 pl matches he has played (leeds, southampton, newcastle, west ham).
but yes, in the pl he has managed more goals/assists per 90 minutes than any of yaya toure, gerrard, or lampard, whilst having twice as many bad games as good ones. jesus though, those good ones must have been stormers.

Been hoping Pogba would be the one constant in a shoddy midfield but he never takes responsibility for all the duties of a midfielder

Yes he has had some stormers. He’s massively talented but too often he flatters to deceive.

He wasn't bad tonight. Probably one of our best players whilst on the pitch but we do have to remember who we were playing of course. So yeah he doesn't deserve criticism for tonight.
However he's scored just 4 PL goals in his last 51 PL games for us, spanning over the last 3 PL seasons. That's not the record of a world class attack minded midfielder is it? Even worse when you think he played a decent chunk of those games as a wide player for half a season too.
His time here won't be remembered fondly. The end .

he has 16 assists in that timeframe - using transfermarkt, which credits a player with an assist for winning a penalty - but i guess we're not counting those? and those 51 games featured quite a few appearances from the bench, it adds up to c. 40 full matches. which gives you 20 goal contributions in 40 full matches.
and he hasn't played a "decent chunk" as a wide player, in the 19/20 season for instance every one of his 16 appearances (roughly 1/3 of the sample size) was in a midfield two, so i'd estimate that of those 51 pl games over 30 have been in a midfield two.
so, as usual, you are talking b()ll()cks.
as i said, only united player who will have a good game and still have posters queuing up to whinge about him.
