Just a note for everyone criticising square pegs;
That means
Dallas can only play right wing
Phillips is an 8
Pablo is a winger
Berardi is a right back
And we never get promoted.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Good point well made.

Struijk appreciation thread 👌
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He will go so far in the game. Our best CB
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Belgium, the number 1 ranked team in world football really want him to commit to them.
Says it all really
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, that Belgium have abhorrent options at CB. Not sure thats the best justification for Struijk's brilliance.
Fair result, could have gone either. Huge game next, loser could be in big trouble, especially them.
Disappointed in the way we utilize our substitutes
happy with a draw maybe coulda shouda sneaked it. was raph even on the pitch. everton big 6 pointer and i hope we get the chance to rub lamptards face in some doodoo in the dressing room
What a game
A point there after being 3 1 down is a superb result.
We're doing well. We've gone a lot of the season without Phillips and Bamford who are our two key players.

Bielsa is failing right now in the substitutions dept
Gerrard’s really impressive ain’t he
Great come back and great point - we're inching our way to safety! Other results are going our way too. We can take a lot of positives away from tonight's performance, not least that James and Rodrigo are beginning to turn it on, which is great news.
Coutinho would be a handful for anyone - he's a world class player, very intelligent, and a snip at 30 mill. Reminds me of Pablo but better.
It's a solid point and we can look forward to the Everton game with some confidence.
So in conclusion we are now happy for a forward line of James Rodrigo Raphina and Harrison.
Midfield 2 v Everton Foreshaw and Koch
Defence Ayling Lorente Struiyk and Dallas
Tough on Klich but we can't surely leave Foreshaw out if he's fit.
Think Klich has been good the last few games. Would be tempted to keep the side unchanged, but could understand him bringing Forshaw in.
Great performance. Absolutely solid team effort.
Raph was out of sorts but that understandable.
James & Struijk were immense. Klich rock solid.
I would bring Forshaw in for Koch next game. Purely because they play 3-4-3 and so Koch W would be marking Van De Beek or Gomez (whoever starts) and who will be playing quite deep. Forshaw better suited to being that high up the pitch.
Joffy will not get a look in if DJ can play like that more often.

Possibly true but good for Leeds if James can carry on like he did tonight. I'm confident Gelhardt has a big future at Leeds and he seems motivated to succeed here and will be benefitting from Bielsa's guidance.
Hopefully he gets some useful game time off the bench and all being well as soon as we reach the 40point mark he may even get another first team start before the end of the season.
I would have settled for a point all day long.
We showed some class tonight and until they equalised we were by far the better team.
Then at 1-3 down we dug in and made a game of it.
OK a couple were off the boil but that’s life.
What a game for the neutral though!

Me too. But the way the lads did it felt more like a win.
James was superb. When Bamord is back, him, Raph & Harrison will be a serious force.
We desperatly need Phillips back, because we can't keep defending like that, they got in behind for fun.
Having said that - looking at the stats and how much possession we had, far far more passes and more shots, etc - plus they have only won one in the last six now - I think we should have been looking at a win here.
Still happy with the way we played apart from letting the little fella get the better of us for 10 minutes.
Credit where it is due . I thought the ref had a good game last night. A rarity to be able to say that but he did well.

Tend to agree with that. He got the big decisions correct I think, but was suckered into giving a few fouls at times.
