think you're jumping to conclusions about what actually happened.
I highliy doubt Bielsa would have accepted James refusing to be subbed off at the time.
Loved Steven Gerard’s post-match comment: ‘Leeds are unique – they take you places you don’t want to go‘.

I thought Gerrard was excellent with both pre match and post match comments. You have to be impressed by him as a manager for the results and the way he handles himself.

This seems a lot more likely.
And I know I sound like a broken record, but the fact that Roberts is getting stick online after that game is ridiculous. And the ones doing it are not fans and they don't deserve to go to games.
Dan the man was everywhere last night, looks to be settling in nicely.
Agree comments about Gerrard, respect to him.
Here's hoping Lampard will not be so upbeat with his after match comments on Saturday. He dodged a few other risky projects to manage Everton, may live to regret it, Fingers crossed
There is no way James refuses to come off. He'd never play for Leeds again. He went down, they thought he was struggling, he said he was fine. End of story.
I don't think any player can refuse if subbed, once their number is shown and he stays the ref will instruct him to move his ass, was James's number shown?..
But it has to be said, along with others on both sides, he played his part in a great game, hopefully that's his marker and he can keep it up!..
Lampard, were we not linked to him as a Bielsa replacement not to long ago?..
Lampard, were we not linked to him as a Bielsa replacement not to long ago?..
Unlikely he will end up at Elland road, don't see him cutting it as a manager any time soon.
Could go either way for Everton, relegation could be the reality check they need for a major boardroom clear out.
Lampard, wtf?.
I meant Gerrard, think we were linked when at Rangers!..
Sorry, my bad!.

He had a great game. He's been a handful
of late anyway. Last night, he put it all
together so well. And I agree, he finally
looked worth his transfer fee. MB knows
his stuff for sure.
DJ is starting to look a real asset now.
He was class last night.
Best moment for me was when he charged into Mings and sent him to the floor - the look on Mings face in Slo-Mo was priceless, he looked shattered.
It was actually shades of Billy and Johnny G!
mont, if people got everything they say right then life wouldn't be worth living, it'd be a bit boring and as pitiful as some of the posts on the ManU board that bring James down for being a Leeds player!.
Credit to those that give him credit and say Leeds ain't as bad as their position suggests, something that as far as our position goes more off our own should believe!..
I think one of the conundrums we have had is how to play James, Harrison and Raphinha together. James and Harrison have been brilliant of late.

Raph will be gone in the Summer so it's not going to be a problem. I can see Summerville stepping in behind, to keep them on their toes, not that James needed that last night. I wonder what s©um fans thought of his performance? That's the difference between Bielsa and the rest.
One of the things I like about Dan is he never fails to put a shift in, there was a point towards the end of the second when a Villa player picks it up in midfield and passed it back to Martinez, James chased it all the way back, Martinez passed it into midfield and DJ chased it. He must have run about 150 metres full pelt after 80 minutes. Loved it.
